Fulton County said 30,000 votes were cast by 9 AM today. They started the day with 443,000 votes and in 2020 they had 517,000
They were almost halfway to what they needed to hit their 2020 turnout with 10 hours left to vote

Jon Ralston has never called Nevada wrong in a Presidential election. He predicts an incredibly narrow Harris win in that state. Ann Selzer hasn’t gotten Iowa wrong since 2004. She predicts an easy Harris win in that state. Hard to see how both are right this time.

@Accountabilabud @AriDrennen Her biggest miss is 7.5 points from 2008, when she was on point with votes for Obama, but about 10% were undecided and almost all went to McCain.
If she misses by that number again, Kamala still outperforms Biden by 3,5%, which sounds pretty generous.

@AriDrennen I believe that the difference is that Selzer is a pollster and Ralston is a journalist who interprets polls but doesn't conduct his own.
AFAIK, his prediction is solely based on the polls fed to the media and said polls likely overestimate Trump.

Never ceases to amaze me how many folks who’ve heard RATM are in Paul Ryan mode, having literally ZERO understanding of anything that band was about and even less understanding where any of us might stand on contemporary issues. Recently was talking to a couple at a restaurant who were big fans of “Killing In The Name”. The nice lady said, “I love that song. It helped me rage against my parents and later against the jab!” I said, “Ma’am that song is about racist cops who often behave like the Ku Klux Klan in service of historical white supremacy and are boot licking lackeys and thugs of the racist capitalist ruling class.” She sat there chewing and blinking, chewing and blinking.
