There is a sentiment amongst people that there aren’t any Black movies that don’t include slavery, trauma, police violence etc. So to those people, here is a Black romantic comedy, a movie not focused on those things. It is a call to them, specifically, to show support for the thing they have been asking for (although it does exist).

Take Mantis for example. You HAVE to stay engaged in fights to generate value, so you’re constantly making risky decisions. If you’re not actively thinking, you just get punished and die. And even someone like Cloak & Dagger, who has a more simple kit, still requires strong decision-making. It’s about how you apply it. Knowing when and who to heal, when to pressure, what your team actually needs in the moment…

All of them, honestly. Some are easier to pick up, sure, but every strategist has a high skill ceiling if you’re actually playing them well. It’s not just mechanics. Positioning, target priority, cooldown timing, when to enable vs disengage, reading fights before they happen, etc etc. That all separates good supports from great ones.

Punisher and Bruce Banner are already there, and apparently Yelena will be too, as well as multiple villains, the Hand, whatever his personal transformation is, reconnecting w/friends, but sure, toss in introducing mutants.
