Would you pay £60m to bring Omar Marmoush to Chelsea?

Xabi Alonso is who Chelsea would like to lead the project, according to sources. Alonso is cautious but hasn’t said no yet. Chelsea have other options if they can’t convince him.

🚨 Newcastle are interested in Liam Delap, but I'm told he would like to stay and fight for his place at Chelsea. (@JacobsBen) #CFC

🚨 Xavi is under consideration to become next Chelsea FC manager. The feeling is that the club have made significant progress in instilling a football identity that is now visible in the academy right down through the age groups, and that one of the values of Enzo Maresca was that his teams typified this approach. Chelsea consequently want to persevere with a coach of similar principles, which is how Xavi has come into a conversation that also includes Xabi Alonso, Porto's Franceso Farioli and Cesc Fabregas. Fabregas, however, is not expected to leave Como this summer. (@MiguelDelaney)

Xabi Alonso video should be out by around 10pm this evening (just trying to edit it between other bits of analysis work I’ve got!) Please show all your support when it drops, these videos along with the other work I’ve currently got on are taking a lot of effort 😂👊

Gabriel should have been sent off for violent conduct during Arsenal’s loss to Manchester City in April, the Premier League’s key match incidents panel has found. In the 82nd minute, with the league leaders chasing the game, the defender was pushed by Erling Haaland and the pair had a head-to-head altercation. As they parted, Gabriel appeared to push the striker with his head. Referee Anthony Taylor gave each player a yellow card following the incident, and video assistant referee (VAR) John Brooks did not intervene. The Premier League’s KMI panel is an independent body introduced in the 2022-23 season that reviews critical match incidents in the referee’s jurisdiction. The panel ruled by a majority of 3:2 that Gabriel’s actions warranted a red card for violent conduct, due to his extra head movement, according to sources with knowledge of the outcome. 🔗 nyti.ms/4cXgBPn

🚨 Chelsea have Liam Delap, Marc Guiu and Joao Pedro, while Emanuel Emegha is set to join in the summer. Along with Nicolas Jackson. At least TWO of those players are likely to be sold in the summer. 💰🚪 (@NizaarKinsella) #CFC
