@esspux @NancyMace This is how the system has worked since day 1. When you retire, your earned benefits will be paid by workers who are putting money into the system. This avoids the needs to invest contributions for 40+ years. Why the fuck do you care? Do you want social security when you retire?

I hate to admit this but Trump was right. He said that if I vote for Kamala Harris gas prices, groceries prices and my utility bills will go through the roof. I voted for Harris and my gas, groceries and utility bills have gone through the roof.

Landry on Fox News: Greenland Loves and Welcomes the United States Trump’s special envoy to Greenland, Jeff Landry, told Fox News that his trip to Greenland was a great success and that, contrary to media reports, the Greenlandic people love and welcome the United States. According to Jeff Landry, Greenland also holds enormous oil potential that could ease dependence on the Strait of Hormuz. Trump’s special envoy to Greenland and Governor of Louisiana, Jeff Landry, has returned to the United States, where he recently appeared on Fox News to discuss his experiences in Nuuk. “My trip was fantastic. I met a wide range of people, spoke with people on the streets, visited people in their homes, and discovered many common traits between Inuit culture and the Cajun culture of Louisiana.” —Sermitsiaq

Dr. Jonathan Reiner: "The president has severe daytime somnolence. He falls asleep very often. He's fallen asleep in the Oval Office on multiple occasions with people talking to him in the cabinet room, and I was concerned yesterday that he might have fallen asleep at Arlington National Cemetery during Memorial Day observances. Chronic insomnia is a severe illness. It can result in an increase in risk of dementia, decrease in cognitive effects in older people."

@BandarJungli @NancyMace @KennethRWebster Well, the land doesn’t provide schools, fire and police protection, trash collection, water and sewer, playgrounds, road repairs or July 4 fireworks, so you need to contribute or move to Alaska and homestead.

No one should pay routine property tax. We should pay one amount when we purchase the property and then it should actually belong to the United States citizens who purchased it. We know we are leasing the land from the planet, but we do not consent to lease it from the government that is supposed to be created By the People For the People. We have not consented for the government to own the land.

@millertime4060 @NancyMace In what math universe does 10% inflation for less than a year cause “everything” to triple? The same math universe where Scump reduces drug costs by 1500%, I guess.

@NancyMace They dont anymore... Biden made it so they could not afford to stay in it. Everything tripled in price except Social Security. They had to choose food or bills. They couldn't have both. Only the ones well off are still homeowners . Most are in vans cars or small RV'S.

@NancyMace I shouldn't be taxed to give them a monthly stipend and pay for their bloated healthcare costs. Not my fault they didn't save. They shouldn't have spent all the money on things they didn't need. They already receive the bulk of our benefits. They don't need more.

@leatherneck559 @NancyMace Municipalities can’t deficit spend like the Feds or red states, so how do municipalities fund their fire, police, trash collection, parks, schools, road maintenance ….. ? Charitable donations?

* NO ONE should pay property tax ... it is LITERAL theft, and 100% antithetical to every single core principal of being an American. Fixed it for ya. Frankly, & along those lines, the 16th Ammendment is unconstitutional as well - but it did manage to get ratified in 1913 ... so ....... it needs to be repealed. Badly. So does the 17th for that matter, but that is another subject. Ok @NancyMace ... you and a few others talk a good game .. but it sure would be nice to see some pushback to the utter dumpster fire of "congress" right now. Seriously .. at the moment .. the entirety of our Legislative Body seems to be - ineffectual is accurate but not strong enough .. retarded? That works too ..

@NancyMace Well, they should pay less because most of the tax goes to schools. But they should pay fairly for the services they use. And I am a they.

@krassenstein It’s comforting that we are governed by people who torment animals. What little boy doesn’t delight in pulling the wings off flies or feeding rodents to snakes. But then they have to grow up and abuse women.

@lomaxx I spent 14 years building a small business and plan to sell it to retire. Worked 7 days/week, 360 days/year. I’ll sell it for perhaps 3.5x my annual income and pay tax as of if I made 4.5x my usual income in that one year. Fed, State and Local. Probably 40-45% of the sale price.

This is where the “tax the rich” crowd lose me. Say I earn 90k a year and in 2027 I inherit $200,000 I invest that $200k and after 10 years in the stock market it’s now worth $400k If I sell it and realise the $200k capital gain, what the govt and the “tax the rich” crowd are saying is that I should be taxed as if I make $290k every year. Now if I try and split that CGT income across 2 people I’m “greedy” and avoiding tax But if I sell down in 4x $100k lots over 4 years and minimise my tax, that’s ok and nobody bats an eyelid - but it’s the same principle.
