Have seen plenty of talent mismatches for workout pairings, but rarely a height mismatch quite this dramatic.

@Watchman_motto The middle is not really the problem. On either side of the ruts, the gravel mounts up. Skim 4 feet on both sides back on to the driveway. It will have some top soil, but mostly gravel. Crown it slightly, and the water will flow away.

I share about 100 yards of drive way with my ~70yr old neighbors. For some reason he’s obsessed with knocking down the center grass in the middle of the tire ruts and covering it with gravel. He talks about it all the time, probably 30% of all conversations I have with him are about this. He’s asking if I want to pitch in for more gravel, etc. When I put my parents in a guest house behind the barn, my dad started talking about it too. He got some roundup and sprayed his section of road. Am I missing something here? I see no problem with it. It looks fine. It occupies 0% of my mind. I’m prepared to spend 0 dollars to remedy this “problem” What is happening?

If you did not watch the whole sequence on Bouchard's goal against last night, you have no business having an opinion about it. Here is what happened 1. Fla makes a line change. Fla player attempts to enter the zone against an aggressive Nurse. Nurse completely fails to stop the entry. 2. Nurse seconds later makes a turnover and loses a board battle to attempt to clear the zone when Edm still had numbers. 3. Nurse continues to have trouble in the board battle and Bouchard comes over to help. 4. the rest is history. Bouchard's man was Greer and he was left open. At the expense of getting tired of watching another teammate fail over and over to do something thats fairly routine, and helping him instead. If Nurse was competent, the whole sequence wouldnt have happened. Bouchard wouldn't need to double team.

Leon Draisaitl appeared to be injured after taking a hard hit early in the first period from Ozzy Wiesblatt. Draisaitl was not on the bench to start the second, and didn't play the rest of the game. Kris Knoblauch had no update on his status after the game.

@oilers_hub True, but still nowhere near good enough to beat the big 3. In the West, in a 7 game playoff series. The Oilers needed a top 10 goalie, with this roster to have a chance. Instead they have a stable of borderline backups.

@oilersdailyy People talk about ruining Ungar, if they called him up. But he had two bad starts, after getting sent to ECHL. Understandably, the guy plays lights out....then get's sent down. He back on track now. Jarry on waivers, nobody will touch that contract. Give Tomkins and Ungar a look.

Look, Jarry has been absolutely unplayable, but for people to say we would be "locked into a playoff spot" if we kept Skinner is outrageous. Clearly did not take long for people to forget just how bad Skinner was in Edmonton.
