Today we broke ground on the 33rd elementary school in @collierschools. The highlight was the Pereira family and their two daughters - future Ave Maria Elementary Cardinals. #CCPSFamily

I built my first app! 🎉 And today, we gave it the perfect debut—with a sock funeral 🧦. Yes, it’s National Lost Sock Memorial Day, and we had to go all in… We are proud to say that @ManateeCCPS’ school news is completely student-run, even the tech stations! @MsPapworthMES and I are always thinking of fun ways to keep it fun and entertaining for our students - as they love watching the news. Our students on the crew also loves being a part of it, so any more opportunities that we can introduce to give our students the chance to lead, we act upon! 😊 Within the last month or so, we tried to add sound effects, but it became a bit much for one student to handle all that they do plus timing sounds on top of it all. So, I made an app just for us - Pads. It lets me load custom sounds, add effects, hide them to avoid confusion, and customize & lock them (because curious fingers love buttons). 🤣 We cover all kinds of fun segments, including National Days, and today’s was just too good to ignore. #CCPSPROUD @collierschools @ChadCCPS
