I'm delighted for Nigel Farage. According to @nberpubs, Brexit gave our country a 6-8% reduction in GDP per capita, a 12-18% reduction in Investment & a 3-4% reduction in productivity. But it gave Nigel Farage a gift of £5millon. So that's alright.

I’ve just walked through central London and passed a group of maybe 30 Jewish schoolchildren. They’re perhaps eight and nine years old. They’re being escorted through the city by two security personnel wearing stab proof vests. What has London become? Are we really a place where Jewish children out in a school trip need guards? Well there you have it folks. Apparently it was her Godson’s First Communion. If that’s the case, why did her friend Natalie Martinez act like she didn’t know Meghan would be there. Her post insinuated she wasn’t aware Meghan was there, even tho she’s the “godmother.” Very weird and puzzling as is everything surrounding this woman.

Anyone who denies the connection between these constant marches - at which antisemitic slogans such as “Globalize the intifada” are very common - and the recent upsurge of antisemitic violence in the UK and elsewhere is being deliberately obtuse. I am ashamed to say I used to say the same things myself, 10-15 years ago. I genuinely thought anti-Zionist protests were not antisemitic. But it is plainly idiotic to continue saying so today. Most of those marching are ignorant of the numerous peoples who have been subject to persecution, murder, rape, deliberate starvation for years - and yes, often by groups armed with Western weapons - from the Yazidi to the Uyghur, from the children of Yemen to the Christian girls of Nigeria. Not to mention the atrocities in Congo and South Sudan. Etc etc. If people don’t think they can blame the Jews, they won’t march. That is antisemitism, pure and simple.

Nobody criticising the brave police officers who successfully disarmed an armed terrorist on the streets of London without firearms has any idea what they are talking about and you have every right to ridicule them when they open their stupid mouths on the subject.

Golders Green is my local high street. It’s a great area, full of different cultures. It’s a predominantly Jewish area and it’s a privilege as a non-Jew to live alongside such a warm and friendly community. Since October 7th, there has been a visible increase in hostility towards the Jewish community. ‘Missing’ posters of relatives were torn down. Yellow ribbons removed from railings. ‘From the River to the Sea’ stickers plastered on lampposts. Verbal abuse in the street. I’ve seen the fear grow in Jewish friends and neighbours, driven by political activists who have revelled in creating that fear. Enabled by others who are indifferent to the impact of their political bedfellows. I hope they now appreciate the awful impact of their behaviour. Saying ‘globalise the intifada’ isn’t just something that immediately identifies you as a dickhead, it is also a form of incitement. If you say it, you are deliberately intimidating Jewish people. Stop it, it’s vile.

We'll get the usual statements of condemnation after Golders Green. But the simple truth is that for years we've had weekly marches through central London in which anti-Semitism has openly flourished. And the Government had stood back and done nothing.

@campbellclaret Do you mean people like Tanni Grey Thompson.. it is interesting though, I never really had a view on this subject. I am now vehemently against. The quality of debate was terrible, the Lords did us proud. I am now a big fan. Sorry your mate Charlie took a walloping.

I want my country back! The one that wasn’t openly antisemitic! The one where Jews could go to shul and not fear being set on fire! The one where the shul I went to in West Hampstead wasn’t shrouded in darkness lest anyone realise what it was! The one where you could openly wear a Magen David✡️and instead of fearing abuse the most you’d get it is genuine interest,“Oh, are you Jewish? Tell me about that.” I want that country back! And so do all decent people. Because a country that isn’t safe for us Jews isn’t safe for anyone!
