@CAgovernor So you threaten the state’s cities, the very cities you should be working with. But when it comes to CA not following federal laws you don’t like, regardless of administration, you sue them. Instead of wasting time on lawsuits, why not just do your job to improve peoples lives?

@MrsMassacre Visited Yellowstone mid August 2024 & Glacier early August 2023 with no reservation. Did not experience anything to the degree you’re describing. In fact, slid into Glacier late afternoon on National Park “free day” and got a cabin inside the park to spend the night.
English

Is this what you thought Yellowstone Park was like? Unmoving traffic jams lasting 1-3 hours; rivaling that of suburban areas in big cities. Nowhere to park. Insane prices. Tourists harassing animals, littering, picking flowers, influencers everywhere, sticking their hands in basins and ruining them, no good camping spots left because people use AI programs to snatch up the good ones within milliseconds of the site opening up, and most of your day spent behind Asian tourist busses.
The overwhelming amount of tourists have made the park experience unbearable. You used to be able to go there and explore nature peacefully. Now it's worse than Disneyland.

@TheresaBish1 @jim_desmond Sorry, but you can’t have it both ways. Realtors were behind the downside of Prop 9 in California that impacted generational wealth by changing the tax base and forcing the sale of a home or business that was inherited by family members.
English

@jim_desmond I'm a Realtor and I fully support this initiative - elect Jim Desmond in order to see this through.

A senior couple has lived in their 4-bedroom home for 30 years. The kids are grown. They'd love to downsize.
But capital gains taxes make it nearly impossible to sell. So they stay. And that family home never opens up for a young family that needs it.
I've already put forward county support for federal efforts to reduce capital gains taxes on seniors selling their homes and to let them transfer their interest rates to a new place.
We free up housing without building a single new unit. We help seniors move on their terms. And we get young families into homes.

@CovfefeAgent @ABC7 What choice do they have when the insurance companies cancel their policy? And the California Insurance Commissioner is flying around the world instead of supporting the people of California.
English

@ABC7 California Fair Plan is dwelling insurance for high risk properties it’s cheaper than major insurance but you get the bare minimum coverage….basically you get what you pay for …learn what your policy overs and excludes
English

An Eyewitness News viewer and her family have been dealing with an insurance nightmare for more than a year after the Palisades Fire.
Even though their homes survived, the family says they have had to pay thousands to move back in safely, claiming the California FAIR plan didn't cover enough.

@ThomasSowell Trees exist naturally in nature. But when you trim the trees in your yard and throw the branches in the middle of the street, that’s trash.

@TheHoopHerald It’s actually visible on the first two shots. The front of the rim is higher than the back. It’s not level front to back and the rim is not perpendicular to the backboard.
English

@nettermike Does anyone care that the state’s insurance commissioner, Ricardo Lara, has not addressed anything insurance related, spends his time vacationing around the world, doesn’t attend legislative committee meetings and that committee members & the governor have done nothing about it?
English

One year after deadly fires ravaged parts of Southern California, a lawmaker wants to make fossil fuel companies pay for soaring insurance costs from climate-linked disasters.
Weiner NEEEDS to go & another thousand of them .. Nothing about WATER, Seriously Incompetent pushing for another way to raise gas prices

English

@MDKanin @ZavalaA It’s a fair question as the bill does nothing to address the prevention of such catastrophes and only assigns blame after the fact. And if our insurance commissioner better managed insurers instead traveling the world for social events, maybe people wouldn’t be suffering so.
English

@ZavalaA In fairness to them, what information or insight are they going to have?
English

@lynnek2005 LynneK- Why would you imply that Scott Jennings was fired from CNN?
English

Dems want President Trump to fail! Scott Jennings loses CNN job for saying this? In my opinion, Scott is the best one they had on CNN! Is Elon buying CNN?
LynneP@LynneBP_294
Did Scott Jennings leave CNN or did he get fired?
English

@houmanhemmati @GavinNewsom It only took six years to build the transcontinental railroad from Omaha, Nebraska to Sacramento, California in the 1860’s. Manual labor and they had to across several mountain ranges.
English

What a misleading post by @GavinNewsom!
He’s standing next to existing SLOW SPEED cargo train because there’s NOTHING TO SHOW for years/billions of $!
He says he’s funding with “cap & invest $”. Know that that is?! ENERGY TAXES. Electricity 💸 for this!
English

@scaling_shields I’m not a car salesman and I could’ve told you all that without you having to get me drunk. And I’ll let you in on a little secret. There’s no such thing as a Labor Day, Memorial Day or any other day “sale” at a car dealership.
English

got a car dealer drunk last night
what he admitted about the $4,283 "ghost fee" scam made me sick
heres what he told me:
"we add fees that dont exist. most people just pay them"
market adjustment - $1,995
"completely made up. we just say demand is high"
dealer prep fee - $495
"we dont prep anything. just a charge we invented"
advertising fee - $695
"our marketing costs. we pass them to customers because we can"
paint protection - $899
"$30 wax job. we call it ceramic coating and 10x the price"
nitrogen tire fill - $199
"air is 78% nitrogen already. pure profit"
$4,283 added after you already negotiated
i asked how they get away with it
"people negotiate for 2 hours then we send them to finance. theyre tired. they just want the car. they sign whatever"
he laughed when he said it
i asked what happens when someone pushes back
"they say remove the fees or im leaving. we remove them. not losing a 3 hour sale over charges we made up"
80% of the time they fold
but 83% of buyers never ask
i asked when dealers are most desperate
"december 31st. end of month quarter and year. quotas and bonuses. we'll take deals we'd reject any other day"
the prevention:
email 5 dealers before going:
"buying [exact car] this week. best out-the-door price including all taxes and fees. comparing offers"
locks in everything
no room for ghost fees
he knew i was going to tell people
didnt care
"wont change anything. people will still pay"
prove him wrong
the fees arent real
stop paying them

@Wm_Galloway Was it though? only if the floor was not level which is highly unlikely.
English

@overton_news Sounds like he watched an episode of Bill Maher… four years ago.

A watershed moment on MS NOW — and their viewers aren’t going to like this one bit.
Joe Scarborough just torched the woke wing of the Democratic Party and told them EXACTLY why they keep losing elections.
Clue: the trans issue.
SCARBOROUGH: “Get rid of those issues right up front, so you can then talk about the things that matter to all Americans.”
“Like, for instance, you know, 85% of Americans have been saying this for ten years now, 85% of Americans don’t think that men who transition after puberty should be able to compete against women.”
“That’s easy. Don’t get wrapped up on that! That’s easy!”
“Right? Don’t be afraid to say that. Because if you’re afraid to say that you’re going to keep losing elections. It’s that simple.”
Then Scarborough went right to the moment voters can’t unsee.
“And I swear, I don’t know how Josh Hawley finds the people he finds to question…and, Claire, if you disagree with me, let me know…but when Josh Hawley asks you, or when somebody asks a Democrat, can men have babies?”
“And you refuse to answer that for 30 minutes, that might be a clue why they think progressives, some progressives are disconnected with America!”
“Let me give you the answer to that. It’s the key. It’s upside down. Bottom of the crossword puzzle. The correct answer is NO...”
“Men can’t have babies!”
“And men who transition after puberty should not be able to compete against girls in sports. This is EASY!”
“Get that out of the way!”
“If that’s not easy for you, DON’T run because you’re going to LOSE!”
English

@Beachdudeca @mighty_tired @SteveHiltonx Also. Why do you think all those properties in the fire ravaged areas of LA are being sold. Because most of those homes, many inherited and owned by minority and middle class individuals, can’t afford to rebuild because of their appreciated value over the years.
English

@Beachdudeca @mighty_tired @SteveHiltonx How do you expect the lower/middle class to build generational wealth when homes/businesses are reassessed to current market value when inherited. One part of Prop 19 was good for property owners, but the realtors lobbied & Rob Bonta deceptively worded the reassessment language.
English

@wil_da_beast630 Because the post is BS. DO YOU REALLY BELIEVE THAT 71% OF AMERICANS DON’T KNOW WHERE THE PACIFIC OCEAN IS?
English

@ArashMarkazi @kamran_nia Or they could continue to play in one of the most beautiful, historic and iconic venues in football. The Rose Bowl.
English

UCLA is talking about moving from the Rose Bowl to SoFi Stadium but why couldn’t they build an on-campus football stadium? Our @kamran_nia talked to a real estate executive who showed how it could happen. thesportingtribune.com/2026/01/14/rea…
