Grateful.
When we started, we didn’t have a milestone in mind,
we just wanted to provide value in a new way.
The top news in 1 minute, in a dynamic, fun, entertaining format, every single day.
Very few people truly understand how much work goes into these “1-minute videos”.
The first one I did (alone) took me 12 hours.
Mainly because I had no idea what I was doing and had to learn everything from scratch.
But I was committed to get it done, even if the final result could be terrible.
I believed it could be the start of something that could change everything.
And now we’re here,
40 videos and 55 daily news later,
shared on X, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
The evolution from Day 1 to today has been insane.
And like many things in life, I didn't appreciate the process until I tried it myself.
In this case, hours of research, prep, recording, planning, editing, and gladly now with a talented team doing their magic behind the scenes.
We’ve made 100s of changes along the way,
many that people might not even notice,
but we do, and they all add up to a better product.
So here are the top 5 lessons so far:
1. You can run on 4 hours of sleep.
2. There’s a different kind of joy when you love what you do.
3. Creating with the right people > creating alone.
4. Be mindful, before judging anything, try to imagine the process behind it.
5. Stay curious, keep learning, keep experimenting, keep failing.
The product will never be perfect,
but consistency makes it better every day.
