🌍 Fund tokenization is an industry-wide movement across numerous global asset managers. In late 2024, tokenized funds had already garnered more than $2 billion in assets under management (AUM).
⚡By enabling near-instant transactions, unlocking liquidity, and reducing operational friction, fund tokenization could generate about $100 billion in additional annual investment return for mutual fund investors, while creating new revenue streams for financial institutions.
📈 Mirroring the rise of exchange-traded funds (ETFs), tokenized fund AUM could reach 1% of global mutual fund and ETF AUM in just seven years. This would imply AUM of more than $600 billion by 2030.
