People have had really bad experience with Ajo and I struggle to relate or understand it. I have been coordinating one for like 4years now, from 100k to 200k and now 500k monthly with over 30 people on the group. Instead of problems, our group is now like a family and friends WhatsApp group. My conditions for admitting you into the group are strict. Aside having personal relationship with some of them, if I don’t see your means of identification, current bank statements, evidence of business or employment among other things, I no go allow you into the group.

Many students who failed WAEC/ NECO failed because your scripts were given to JSS3 & SS 1 students to mark.🤧 For about 18yrs now, script marking is around N12 - N14 per script which are done within 2 weeks. Some teachers take about 300 scripts to mark— thats N4000, while ….

I used to work on offshore oil rigs. The generators that power them are the size of a small house. One day a technician forgot to lock out;tag out while he was checking why we were having voltage drops on the pump floor. A supervisor came by and saw the third generator was off and decided to fire it up. I was in the room trying to find a replacement pump sensor when it clicked. Boom pop zap. I saw a human explode, turn to plasma, then carbonize. The sound and and smell never leave.

Why is Nigeria different? Because it’s Africa, the rules don’t apply? People here pay FULL PRICE for a service that works 25% of the time. This isn’t innovation. This is exploitation.
