Every time someone says 'October 7' & assumes I should know they mean the attacks on Israel is just more imperial imposition, splitting the world into zones of being /non-being. What they're asking us to forget is the other event October 7 marks: the invasion of Afghanistan.

Some families in Gaza have been living in the same tent for two years and their tents are worn out and ripped. chuffed.org/project/113222…. The Sameer Project visits camps and assesses the tents to replace those in the worst conditions. Unfortunately there aren’t enough new tents for everyone, even if we could buy them. On March 29, The Sameer Project replaced 6 tents in Thorat Al Shamal Camp in Deir Al Balah. Each tent costs around $160, including 11% commission. So the total for this initiative was $960. As you can see, the conditions in the camps are terrible. The Sameer Project is also helping the toilet situation and provides jerrycans for water and goods for Palestinians in displacement camps as most can’t afford to buy basics. One of the UK’s most influential Muslims, he headed the Tablighi Jama’at in Europe. His tireless efforts greatly contributed to establishing Islam in the West. May Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) have mercy on him and grant him the highest ranks in Jannah. Albania's Islamic heritage was nearly erased when the communist regime of Enver Hoxha banned religion in 1967, demolishing approximately 740 mosques across the country. That this mosque bears his name is a reminder of how Allah raises individuals to serve His deen across generations and continents — and how that legacy endures long after they are gone.
