$HOOD finally regained users trust from $GME days and have somehow decided to consistently shoot themselves in the foot since. The prioritization of shipping new shiny features with maximum velocity and terrible scaffolding is almost impressive. Their fundamental investing and trading components don’t work properly, I wonder what could go wrong with integrating this already cracked foundation with agentic investing. Confused how @vladtenev thinks they’ll be the future of finance with the model of maximizing feature inventory that isn’t actually functional or mature.

$HOOD - ROBINHOOD LETS AI TRADE STOCKS AND MAKE PURCHASES Robinhood Markets is rolling out a feature that lets customers delegate investing and credit-card spending decisions to AI agents. Users can connect tools like Anthropic’s Claude or Cursor to a dedicated account where the AI can place stock trades, manage portfolios, and execute spending tasks within set limits and alerts. For credit cards, AI agents can search for deals, book travel, and secure tickets using a virtual Gold card, while users retain control through spending caps, approvals, and instant notifications. For now, the system is limited to stock trading, with options and crypto support planned later.

I don’t work there haha but I’d guess all the things you do with money: -new feature roadmaps and buildouts -iteratively optimize UI/UX and it has a lot of room for improvement -enhance security to prevent illegal scraping from AI like Anthropic already did -likely eventually train their own in house Reddit chat bot to make forums/locating them more dynamic

one of my issues with $RDDT is that they keep printing money and the cash balance keeps going up but they dont have anything to invest in to grow the platform. How does it expand beyond its current scope?

@Polymarket Why didn’t you offer a market for this?! Matt Kalish is going to freak out that there is no liquidity for dogs firing shotgun bets on prediction markets!

hypothetically speaking, if someone didn't enjoy driving but was interested in doing a long, leisurely road trip around the united states, and also wanted to use the vehicle in both summer and winter to travel through new england nature, what vehicle would you recommend to buy?

I don’t pretend to know nearly enough to postulate tops or market direction but I can say this is the most prolific top take I’ve seen on X (top = spacex ipo given nasdaq reg changes). Maybe this is a symptom of algorithm curation but this is the most popular opinion I’ve seen on my feed

@JoshuaArieh @kai_xbt Lmao when $DKNG was spinning up it showed the ridiculously outsized profits they made from user parlays. This whole feud is fucking brain dead against brain dead. They are both built on skimming money from users. Warren Buffet said it best that gambling is a tax on stupidity.

DraftKings co-founder says 97% of normal Kalshi users get decimated and only Wall Street wins "97% of people, the normal people who are responding to their marketing, pull up and think I see the number on the site, I click bet and I get the bet that you're saying. These are the people getting decimated by market makers. Wall Street. Susquehanna. The big Wall Street trading firms. Professionals putting millions of dollars in using APIs and algorithms to milk them as fast as possible." "I'm not saying these things shouldn't exist. What I'm saying is you can't market things one way like oh this is some nice site where Main Street has an advantage over Wall Street. Like Tarek posted. Every single person who's the 99% of normal users are getting their ass handed to them and losing at a 90% plus rate."

@tradingview your team desperately needs to patch the issue with constant and random sign outs from integrated brokers, specifically @IBKR. The connectivity is absurdly inconsistent and now your verification prompts have stopped working properly

@ChallengeThink @yonann I agree prediction markets are overall superior to sportsbooks and will obsolete them soon. I was just saying Draftkings guy was right on one of the disadvantages of Kalshi/Poly (order filling). He just didn’t mention any of the downsides of sportsbooks so he can stay in business

Matt Kalish says Kalshi showed him a $930K payout on a $10K bet, then market makers turned the odds from 93 to 1 into 38 to 1 "i say i want to bet $10,000 on brooks koepka to win, the website says 93 to 1, i hit bet, what do you think happens?" "you think you're getting 93 to 1 right, and of course you're gonna win $930,000 right" "it turns out my bet's getting dumped to wall street market makers for a fraction of the amount. it was like 60% vig basically on this bet" "why is it if i bet $10 i'm getting 93 to 1 and if i bet $1,000 now it's suddenly 38 to 1? that's not sports betting, that's some other shit"

@jimcramer If you think of executives with a lens similar to WAR in baseball, does this person’s value add to the company materially matter? $NOW is trading down >50%+ off its peak — can be a good change of personnel, and positive because there is a legacy ServiceNow exec at OpenAI.

@kylekuzma @kylekuzma since you’re a Kalshi investor aren’t you required to disclose that you have a @Kalshi representative writing your tweets for you? And you’re letting them broadcast financial/equities information too. Weird as hell.
