Even ignoring the whataboutism, this isn’t even true. Gamora and Nebula existing already built up Thanos indirectly. In Avengers 1, he didn’t just sit in a chair, he was the one who sent Loki. You don’t gotta diminish your own previous work to justify being washed now😭

bro you realize they explored her character more than T'Challa right? she has more screen time now than Chadwick including this movie. her growth is perfect and this new movie will show her giving the wisdom she learned from her brother, dad and Mother to her young nephew. when she thought she had no more family left after her nation got attacked and were in shambles. now she has to show T'Challa Jr what it means to be a Warrior and a King on her Own!! she will start the movie being black panther but mostly likely sees the growth of her nephew past the mantle knowing that he can be both WARRIOR and KING!!

My theory on how the MCU will tackle the humans vs. mutants conflict is that the DODC will blame Jean and make a public statement about this “rogue mutant” wreaking havoc on New York, using that to turn the public against mutantkind whenever more begin to emerge. Basically humans will hate mutants because of whatever she does in BND and THAT will be the start of the conflict.
