I’m so tired of this talking point. Tom Steyer is running for governor of California, which spent $20,000 *per student* in 2023. That’s double what the state spent just 10 years ago. And yet test scores are *declining.* The idea that we don’t “invest in schools” is a myth.

The draw is the draw, and I don't think it's bizarre or unique that a team has an easier draw in a given season.
It is worth noting that Sark is helping with a coordinated strategy by Texas to bend CFB to their will: Left Big 12 because they wanted better home matchups, have a much tougher schedule to try to keep fans in their seats and give money, and now are trying to lobby for postseason access because of that. I'm passing no judgement on that strategy, that just is what it is.
