@SolomonSerwanjj @BOU_Official In any crime, the first suspects are the owners of product. Therefore, it's government for BOU. Any others, should be tracked from outside Uganda, and not even anywhere and how. Only the top four intelligence agents of the world.

@SolomonSerwanjj @BOU_Official @SolomonSerwanjj, we should not split hairs. Government can not point to anything except itself. What a shame to the regime. See them for what they are. Even the blind feels security heaviness around the bank. And, there is increased security around town.

How easy is it for thieves to break into the @BOU_Official ? What does this speak to the safety of the country's reserves and money? Will this break in be investigated to logical conclusion? Why didn't the thieves steal the money and only took 7 laptops? How did they go past all the security checks including the guards, alarm system at the central bank? Banange munjambeko because sibitegela.

🚨 Governor, Bank of Uganda, Michael Atingi-Ego recently warned Parliament that the Sovereignty Bill could trigger financial shocks, scare away investors, and destabilise our economy. Then just days later, thieves with inside help break into the same Bank of Uganda headquarters, spend nearly 3 hours inside, steal seven laptops, the CCTV server and router, conveniently wiping out evidence. They walked in using duplicated keys through the City Square gate. Wait, 3 hours???? Just to steal 7 laptops, CCTV server and Router???? Coincidence? Or A carefully orchestrated inside job???

The iron eagle is tormenting the skies above the August House. A criminal government in a Holy State of Uganda. When you ask, they tell you its drill for the swearing ceremony on the 12th.

@africatodayMG What is your source of rating. It would be important to always state how one arrived at a point. The mere saying, am here is not a journey. Put out your source. Some of us love reading to agree.

Uhm… I recall arguing that Acholi people should aim for shared prosperity (win-win) with these pastoralists and being rubbished. The politicisation of the matter by the government & Acholi MPs has now created victims on both sides. #SayNoToPopulism

@CapitalFMUganda Am waiting to see what Rubaga will do. The Archbishop refused a Mass organized for Dr. Kizza Besigye and his co-accused to proceed at Rubaga. Should Rubaga hold any prayer session, right thinking Catholics need to petition the Vatican.

Attacking Archbishop Samuel Kaziimba Mugalu during a church service in Boston shows nothing but arrogance fued by stupidity. I repeat. It’s not the duty of the Archbishop to help anyone overthrow govt. Succeeed or fail on your own. Dont reflect personal frustrations on others.

@M_Kananura @kakiri @09 Why arrest the boda boda rider without arresting the parents of the children. I think, they are both capable of the offence. Just wondering.

Police @Kakiri is holding one Musisi Allan a boda-boda rider of motorcycle Reg.no UEA 067F, who was intercepted while transporting @09 children from the same family. He has since been charged & is currently detained at the same police facility pending court proceedings. All the @09 children belong to one family & were reportedly prepared by the parent & handed over to the rider for transport. We strongly urge parents & guardians to desist from such dangerous practices. Such situations are preventable if safety is taken seriously. Let us prioritize the protection & well-being of our children at all times

It is important to first find out why an elderly woman, old enough to be a grandmother, would steal bottles of gin from a supermarket. Was she going to drink it or sell it for survival? Despite all this, stealing cannot be condoned.

I saw many people are complaining and accusing the establishment. Let me remind you. When president Museveni said, "I think, the children of the revolutionaries should be employed in high offices ro end corruption". And, we clamped for his wisdom. What is the beef now.

What is the essence of using violence in such intellectual engagement? I strongly condemn such primitive behaviour. It sends wrong message about our people from Northern Uganda. We are NOT violent people fellow Ugandans. @JanathanOdur can go to Courts of Law. @aitajoel

Erute South MP Jonathan Odur confronts committee chair at Munyonyo over the #ProtectionOfSovereigntyBill2026. He challenged the directive to adopt the committee report without debating the bill clause-by-clause. The joint committee passed the report anyway — 22 votes to 11. A group of dissenting MPs is now drafting a minority report to table on the floor when the bill goes for second and third reading this Tuesday, May 5. #UgandaParliament #SovereigntyBill

My cartoons are being exhibited by the Freedom Cartoonists Foundation under the theme of ‘Cartoons for Freedom’ at the shores of Lake Geneva (Quai Wilson) alongside those of Safaa Odah, a Palestinian cartoonist, and of a few others from Europe. If you are there, pass by to check. The Exhibition will last the whole month of May.

@HAdradenya @SpireJim Ndugu Amazia, you are not right. It's not about poverty nor inadequacy at homes. It's greed and insensitivity of our society. Imagine boardroom meetings by fairly exposed, educated with least being graduates. Ladies packing food to carry home from a three star hotel.

@SpireJim @SpireJim I disagree with you in this. It is all about attitude that bred poverty. Imagine, if everyone had food and ate before coming for any social gathering, the host would not overwhelmed and no one would scramble for food. The rich waits for poor to eat first!

One of the telling things about our society at our functions is how we behave around food: 1. People loading more food on their plates than they can finish, and without feeling ashamed of the heaps on their plates 2. The fact that people have to be served, because they don’t know how to share limited resources 3. When given a chance for self service, people serving themselves without any regard to those behind them that might not get. Five pieces of chicken are left in the dish, and someone serves himself three of them (with 20 people behind him) 4. People eating more than they need, just because there is free food 5. People acting impatient as if they would die if they took 10 more minutes before their turn to serve (okulookalooka/ okululunkana) 6. Serving the second time (double) before others get anything, and pretending not to have eaten at all 7. Packing food to take home when some people present haven’t got 8. Catering service providers hiding food. While these habits might seem isolated and only related to food, they ALL vividly manifest themselves when we are in charge of any resources that have to be shared. Think about it. Our biggest problems as a country are around GREED, SELFISHNESS, DISHONESTY, and lack of a sense of SHAME

THE TRAITORS AMONG US The real traitors of the Ugandan State are the very people entrusted with State powers. The Executive and the legislature needed to be on the Ugandan citizens dock. Protest by citizens not only right but justified if parliament pass the PSB 2026.
