All 1,000 DCA paths are profitable with an average cost base of $52k… while Saylor is currently sitting on a loss. How is this possible? Saylor has a negative convex trading position—something every Wall Street trader avoids. When Strategy’s shares are strong and the premium is wide, the company issues equity to buy Bitcoin—typically when prices are already high. I’m not convinced that issuing a credit instrument (STRC) with such a high hurdle rate meaningfully improves the convexity profile. If anything, STRC introduces a time component—Saylor is now implicitly betting on a relatively fast bull run. Not looking good on the daily, was this a quick news flush or the start of a multi day drop? I was sure we were going higher, now the water is muddy. No change from me though, I am holding Long looking for a confirmation, 1 day down does not confirm a trend change. My bias is still higher and this is just temporary noise.
