@RingHaven True, not watching it to find out but I think it's more that people are super down on the product now and collectively tired than it actually being the worst show ever. Opening with a dissapointing dud angle, and a goofy cursed pinfall spot on top of ppl down on it already

Giving a show a low rating is understandable, but bad booking isn't enough to give a show a zero. It still has professional presentation. To me, a true zero would be a constipated HHH struggling to squeeze out a turd in a dirty bathroom, while filming it live in 240p.

@forestm555 Yeah if we're a dick to them when they're genuinely trying to give it a chance they're just going to go back to saying they can't get into AEW because of the fans, and to be fair to them, fans being toxic assholes when they're trying to be nice won't help that case at all.

It bums me out how many AEW fans I see saying “no thanks” to people (who admittedly run terrible twitter accounts) that seeming are willing to admit their attention is leaning towards AEW now. Gatekeeping is gonna happen regardless, but we gotta keep the lanes open, people.

People want to appear to be good & moral without doing the work. It's very low stakes and unserious to do your activism through wrestling twitter. I don't think people are even happy doing this. If they get what they want it's a new problem next week, they can't just be happy.

A lot of the activism in the IWC is performative and tiring AF to me and it's very Gen Z coded. It's easy to @ Tony Khan about how a women's wrestling match should have been longer. It's harder to do serious activism IRL for issues that affect the world outside of your fandom.

Generation Z seeing in real time that nobody cares and they are having a hard time grasping it.. Some of y'all accounts are built off of respectability politics and it's tumbling down because the reality is.. Celebrities are now free from living their lives based on social media
