I genuinely don't think Maresca is a bad appointment. A small sample, but he has shown that he genuinely does know how to win trophies at the clubs he's been at,Parma aside. Won the league with the EDS, Championship with Leicester, Conference league and Club World Cup with Chelsea - arguably the worst run club in the league. Yeah, it's not City's standards, but he's clearly a winner. Some managers go their entire career being rated and never win a single thing. The club obviously know and trust Maresca and he'll be incredibly hungry. Let's just see hey? He'll bring new ideas at least.

@StevenMcinerney I've always found the constant questions about his future odd. He said months ago he was staying and even hinted at a further extension - has also constantly said he's got another year left on his contract.
