@oliviscusAI It requires ESP32 signal analyzers to be installed in a mesh in your home. No one is without great effort installing a bunch of little devices throughout your home going to be able to look through your walls.

🚨 BREAKING: Someone just open-sourced software that sees you through walls using only WIFI signals. it’s called WiFi-DensePose. It maps your exact body pose in real-time. no cameras. no sensors. just your living room router. 100% Open Source.

@elonmusk Lots of image instability here with reflections, shadows, and refractions. Question for @ID_AA_Carmack and @elonmusk, what are the barriers for stable diffusion or others to be able to deliver Ray trace quality in motion at >60fps with realtime input?

Becomes a toxic mess with first hail storm, tornado or hurricane, probably unviable for the vast majority of the USA then. Probably only good for the lower states, like Texas and Nevada, that have plenty sun and lot less chance of severe weather. Just like the solar farm in Nebraska found out the hard way. instituteforenergyresearch.org/renewable/sola…

Solar covered parking could generate as much electricity as all existing sources combined in the U.S. (~4,400 TWh/year) - U.S. has an estimated 1-2 billion parking spaces - 1 billion standard sized parking spaces = 14 billion square meters (3.4 TW @ 24% efficiency) - 4,400 TWh/year (17% CF, 14% system losses) - U.S. electricity generation 4,178 TWh (2023) U.S. electricity generation: eia.gov/tools/faqs/faq… Capacity factor and loss assumptions: nrel.gov/docs/fy16osti/…

Why did I deepfake myself? To see if conversing with an AI-generated version of myself can lead to self-reflection, new insights into my thought patterns, and deep truths.

@BitPaine @saylor It's not clear to me how the value flows back to shareholders (vs owning Bitcoin) when they keep issuing new equity, effectively diluting my shares. Would love to better understand this. See fine print below from their shareholder meeting: "Assumes no change to share count"

@Austen This is why I’ve been scouring for a slack replacement or migration path to Teams. The data hostage situation is real. @hdtaskiran

This is hands down the most unacceptable interaction I've ever had as a CEO. Having paid Slack millions of dollars, exporting our data is failing. We tried a few ways, none of it works. Slack's response? "Sign a new contract or your data automatically enters deletion queue."

The @verge's review of the Apple Vision Pro is somewhat negative. But its review had this line: "The Vision Pro is stunning compared to other VR headsets, which are largely plastic and often downright goofy-looking." That's all Apple needed to deliver on the first product. The first iPhone had many, many problems. Nokia's CEO kept reminding me of them for years after it came out. Some in the VR industry are celebrating the negatives sounds just like the Nokia CEO and we all know about how that worked out. I'm not going back to Zuckerberg's device.

@conorsvan1 @BCGovNews Sounds about right. The same is happening in Victoria. Short term rentals/Airbnb exceptionally hard to do now, even in your own home! Meanwhile hotel prices have continued to be at an all time high.

@BCGovNews Vancouver tried this. We succeeded in driving a billion tourism dollars out of the economy & rendering thousands of cleaners jobless. The hotels who funded the campaign responded by tripling profits & repatriating them to the US. Politicians understand soundbites, not results.

Short-term vacation rentals have surged in recent years and are taking away homes people need in many communities. We're taking action to give local governments better tools to ensure hosts play by the rules - returning more homes to people.

@elonmusk The CRTC is one of the most oppressive and controlling gov bodies around. They consistently pander to the big telcos, and are behind the draconian regulations for cellular and content/streaming in Canada, which has led to the highest internet and cellular costs in the world!
