RAILA ODINGA’S RETIREMENT BENEFITS AS FORMER PRIME MINISTER:
After retiring as Prime Minister in 2012, Raila Odinga became entitled to benefits under the Retirement Benefits (Deputy President and Designated State Officers) Act, 2015. His main benefit was a monthly pension equal to 80% of his last PM salary. With his salary recorded at KSh 1.3 million, this gave him about KSh 1 million per month in pension.
Beyond the pension, he also received a one-off lump sum payment of one year’s salary for each term served, plus gratuity equal to five times his last pay. His other perks included two 2,000cc saloon cars and one 3,000cc four-wheel drive vehicle, all replaceable every four years, along with three drivers. He also received a fuel allowance of 15% of his last monthly salary, a fully furnished office, up to 17 staff members including secretaries and security, full medical cover for himself and his spouse, and diplomatic passports.
Since the Finance Act 2022, these benefits have been administered through the Office of the President, though the pension, lump sum, and gratuity are processed and paid by the Treasury.
Sasa sijui hizi benefits zilienda wapi ama sai Ida ndo anakula …?

If I were a LUHYA or LUO, I'd have voted for President William Ruto on 3 accounts:.
1. Extension of SGR from Naivasha through Kisumu to Malaba!
2. Dualling of Rironi-Mau Summit Road.
3. Reviving sugar factories.
There are many reasons why Kibaki and Uhuru Kenyatta build these critical infrastructure leading to either their regions or farmers and ignored Western Kenya and Nyanza.
We shall discuss why in future..

I sometimes pity Kalonzo Musyoka.
In politics, if you want to be president, you must go for it.
Ruto wanted to be president and went for it.
Ruto traversed the whole country garnering support.
Ruto planned, organized and went for the presidency.
You don't become the president overnight, you plan, organize and work with like-minded individuals to achieve it.
Now look at Dr. Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka... He want to be president, but want to be endorsed.
He wanted Raila Odinga's endorsement, it didn't happen.
He now wants Rigathi Gachagua endorsement, I don't know if it will work.
Kalonzo Musyoka literally wants to be pushed or handed over the Presidency on a silver platter.
It doesn't work like that my friend.
Had Ruto waited for Uhuru Kenyatta's endorsement, his political career would have died a natural death.
But he understood the game that leadership isn't given, it's taken ruthlessly.
My friend Kalonzo Musyoka only campaigns when he wants or when pushed by Rigathi Gachagua.
Rigathi Gachagua will be going to UK, and you'll never see Kalonzo Musyoka in a political rally until the return of Gachagua.
This is the person who wants to mount a competition against Ruto who defeated a sitting president with the system who supported a formidable candidate in Kenya's history.

WITH or WITHOUT Murima POLITICAL MANDARINS ditching UDA, baba @Georgeruto001 WILL STILL retain his PRESIDENTIAL JOB.
Say @WilliamsRuto TUTAM.

I DON'T THINK Irungu Kangata's EXIT of UDA is a SURPRISE news.
His DEPARTURE and joining the OPPOSITION outfit was an OBVIOUS route OWING to his TRIBAL political vehicle DCP belonging to the UNITED OPPOSITION.
JUST go where your SOUL belongs to @HonKangata.
