@ScotRail Hiya, need to delay repay for an m-ticket from yesterday, but it won't display a barcode, just says "the ticket has expired" so can't submit online. How do I go about this please?

@TPEassist @LNER LNER guard when we were boarding 12:36 told people to wait for the next one. That'd be the 12:52? Cancelled. So next is the 13:36. But that is now running nearly an hour down! What a shambles.

@TPEassist @LNER Trains running very full and standing (as in, so crowded you can't sit on the floor) on LNER now. As soon as LNER reported the person hit by a train buses should have been put on from Carlise. Egregiously bad organisationally today. What a mess.

@TPEassist @LNER OK, that answers the last question. Again, on what grounds does a Do Not Travel get issued, compared to other operational issues? What are the criteria? Given its huge affect on paying passengers surely there should be transparency on this?

@CharlesParry @LNER Due to damage to the overhead electric wires between Lockerbie and Carstairs caused by a fallen tree in the Beattock area, all lines between Carlisle and Edinburgh/Glasgow are blocked. ^Kim

@TPEassist @LNER I mean, unless TPE are paying for a hotel, I need to travel... apologies for not working from home so I have to be travel and use the glorious British rail network. Why was a Do Not Travel issued? What specifically separates today from a day when buses would be put on?

@CharlesParry @LNER There are no replacement services because a Do Not Travel was issued for the day.^JM

@TPEassist Now by the look of things @LNER is imploding as well. Why weren't buses put on from Carlise?! My direct train is now three via the other side of the country, using a service provider which is also struggling under delays and cancellations.
