@BrantTedeschi I have not, I have always been very loyal to mediavine. they scooped me up when I had no idea what i was doing and empowered me to build a business for which I am eternally grateful. But, they have been a mess lately tbh.

@CharlestonCraft Have you ever tried raptive? I think they are good but I am seeing similar downward numbers with them. I think its just the industry in general right now... I started to see it in Q4 2025.

How’s everyone’s RPMs looking for January vs January last year?

@BrantTedeschi down between 30-50% across my sites. I reached out to mediavine and they told me to make my blog posts longer.... as if I went in and shortened them all since last january. More and more disappointed by them lately.

I was excited when a brand I worked with last year asked me to be a brand ambassador. Until I realized they wanted me to create content for free. They paid me last year, but their ambassadors work for free? For the “possibility of paid campaigns later in the year”. Pass.

Heads-up! I saw this live yesterday before the announcement today. It's super-alarming and should be for all publishers. When you click "Show more" in the AIO, you are TAKEN OUT OF SEARCH and into just the AIO (you cannot scroll past the AIO to the search results). Then if you type a question in the "Ask anything" field, you are taken directly to AI Mode. This is not a great feature for any publisher ranking in the 10-blue links below the AIO. I'll provide some examples soon, but you can see the video below and in Barry's post.

With all the information on the Internet and with AI, I still cannot believe that if an unknown number text or calls you, your phone doesn’t tell you who it is. Like come on – I know you know. I’m never answering an unknown number. Tell me who it is!

running my month end report and our RPM on our primary site was down THIRTY THREE DOLLARS from last year. $74.75 in 2024, $41.62 in 2025. Y I K E S

@hodsonated sure, this explains retail sales being down. This site is monetized primarily via display ads, which are paid by marketing budgets, which usually shoot up on and around BF.

@CharlestonCraft I don’t know about your site specifically, but I think people are starting to realise that it’s just a bogus marketing ploy. I had a whole computer build in my pricerunner alerts basket hoping to get a good deal on BF. Instead, most the parts went up in price? 🤣

Timeline- On November 6th, the night Anna Kepner died, Anna had left dinner early and gone back to her cabin after saying she did not feel well. It is important to note that Anna was staying in a room on the cruise ship with two of her brothers. Her biological 14-year-old brother and her 16-year-old stepbrother. They were staying in bunk beds and she had a bed to herself. Her two siblings headed back to the room later that evening, where her younger brother changed his clothes and left again to take pictures of the Carnival Horizon. When her younger brother came back, he noticed Anna wasn’t in bed, but he assumed she went out again. He thought nothing of it and went to sleep. Anna was last seen on the ship’s surveillance footage returning to her room and was never seen leaving. The next day, when his sister had not returned, the rest of Anna’s family realized that she was missing. While her father searched the ship for Anna, a medical emergency was announced on the loudspeaker. @Aoakudotcom I gave it a solid 18 months of doing the same old hoping things would change back and they did not so it was adapt or get a desk job LOL. I'd rather do about anything than that at this point.

@glproductions There also was a lot of messaging about personality and having your content whatever it looks like really be personality lead in order to stand out in an AI driven world and build that human connection to get people coming back
