@bhoysviews Player trading profit 😂. How many of the players in our squad are worth anything decent? Nearly the whole fanbase has been united in their agreement of how bad our players are.

@edcassidycomedy Side issue: Hearts whole game strategy for 88m was wasting as much time as they could possibly get away with. That's why the 8 mins was announced. The ref cuts that 8 minutes short by 30s and suddenly a single lost second nulls the integrity of the contest! Aye fuck right off

@c_mcdonald3 You can't get the jail for blowing a whistle. You can for assault. Not exactly a fair comparison is it. Ref said he ended the game with like 30 seconds left to play. Its easy to believe. Multiple assaults on the pitch at Celtic park not caught on camera, not so easy to believe

So basically Oneill saying I won't say people were assaulted on the park without evidence is irresponsible, but basically everyone else in the media claiming multiple people were assaulted on the park with no evidence outwith 'reports' is responsible?

@HeyUglyPeople @CraigMurrayOrg Refinement, like steel, is of strategic national importance : foundational to a nations anti-fragility. So you keep the capacity on life support if youre a serious country. It's not your local paint shop closing, wee sweary Ian.

Sky News just did an extended piece on the UK being the world's largest importer of jet fuel, with zero production capacity. They managed not to mention the closure 2 years ago of the Grangemouth oil refinery which produced jet fuel.

@thejock1967 @Pmacgiollabhain An assault is a physical attack. Verbals are classed as abuse and could be dealt with as breach of the peace or threatening behaviour. Bloom has claimed assault and will need to back it up.

“One or two got assaulted.” This is a bold accusation that Bloom will need to back up with evidence. Hearts have embraced the pseudo-victim role here because they blew it. Leaving the stadium looking like a stag do of full-kit wankers was nothing more than performative.
Barry Anderson@BarryAnderson_

Tony Bloom on the Celtic v Hearts pitch invasion. "The final whistle hadn't gone so no supporter should be on the pitch. The Hearts players were in danger, one or two got assaulted. It's completely unacceptable behaviour." edinburghnews.scotsman.com/sport/football…

Ben doesn't know what he's talking about. EU membership would make trade flow more easily but would also impose heavy fiscal rules on the government. Swings and roundabouts. Barely relevant. We're in trouble because big global capital is preying on our financialised economy and import-dependency to repress public investment and limit private investment mainly to asset-stripping and rentierism.

Yet another striking illustration of just how ideologically rigid the West has become compared to what we used to be. This was the obituary The Economist published for Mao in 1976 - at the height of the Cold War. Read this part: "In the final reckoning Mao must be accepted as one of history's great achievers: for devising a peasant-centred revolutionary strategy which enabled China's Communist party to seize power, against Marx's prescriptions, from bases in the countryside; for directing the transformation of China from a feudal society wracked by war and bled by corruption, into a unified egalitarian state where nobody starves; and for reviving national pride and confidence so that China could, in Mao's words, 'stand up' among the great power." Show this text to any Economist "journalists" today - without telling them it's from their own paper - and they'd reply: surely it's "CCP propaganda" 😏 Yes, incredible as it may sound, there used to be a time when Western journalists could assess a geopolitical rival honestly and respectfully without being accused of being a traitor. And this honesty was in no small part a key factor why the West won the Cold War. Today we call honest assessment "propaganda," and we harass, smear, and blacklist people for it. And we're puzzled why the West is in steep decline. Truth matters.

@Charlie47086674 @LA_Bernadette27 Proper Celtic victim mentality that. It would be an issue regardless of which teams supporters done it. The fact you lot cant see through your green tinted specs as to why what happened on Saturday might just be a potential issue in the future is staggering.

@Gorgie_Chants @LA_Bernadette27 How was your hot air balloon ride to imagination land, mate? 'Everybody' is talking about Saturday because they're sick Celtic won & they're scrambling for some alms for their pain whether it's imaginary refereeing mistakes or spinning a celebratory pitch invasion into Oct 7 🥱

@Charlie47086674 @LA_Bernadette27 On the scale of the issue, yes that visible assaults and verbal abuse towards Hearts players are one of the main issues, invading the pitch prior to full time being another. Pitch invasions in general remain an issue but they are not the reason everyone is talking about Saturday.

@citizentommy Tommy the taj, you are a complete clown. Shankland was attacked. Your fans pushed & shoved other Heart’s players. Your officials, in the tunnel, were giving abuse at the Hearts players. Your support has been exposed for the scum they are and have been out of control for years.

Where is the evidence to back up the media and punditry outrage and vitriol against Celtic supporters? It doesn't exist. No Hearts player was assaulted. No Hearts management team was assaulted. The Celtic support was condemned and found guilty without evidence. As per usual 😡🍀
Andy@andymuirhd

Days later, after every angle, every crowd clip, every phone video, there’s still no footage that backs up claims of assaults or serious physical abuse of Hearts players - but media and bandwagon jumpers adopt the narrative as truth without evidence to support andymuirhead.com/p/the-story-af…

Morning all, Daizen Maeda got quite emotional after his goal against Hearts, I wonder if he knew his time at Celtic was nearing its conclusion? I'd love him to stay, but whatever happens in the summer, he's been a great player for Celtic and will take some replacing.

@PaulM_7 It was one of at least 5 uk pitch invasion celebrations within a week or so: Ipswich, Tranmere, Stockport, Notts County. Absolute dog bites man stuff. God knows how many across Europe but Freiburg's was certainly far bigger than ours.

The hyperbole on this is ridiculous. I hate pitch invasions and a few folk who approaching opposition players is unacceptable. A ‘deplorable, scourge on our country’ - do me a favour. Looking forward to the next non-Celtic pitch invasion being heralded as ‘amazing scenes’.
