🚨 14 year old Esther “Esti” has been missing from Toronto for over a week. Her family asked Global News to re-share this clip from last year because they hope someone recognizes her face, her voice, or remembers an interaction that didn’t seem important at the time. Watching it is honestly devastating. She comes across as bright, warm, articulate, and genuinely sweet. Her parents describe her as extremely intelligent, deeply caring, and trusting. Esti is on the autism spectrum and her family is terrified that someone may have taken advantage of that. She was last seen late Friday night on May 15 near Earl Bales Park in North York. Police later released security footage appearing to show her in a restaurant shortly after midnight. Toronto Police launched a Level 1 search, the highest level search operation available, involving multiple specialized units. She’s 5’2 with brown hair and was last seen wearing a turquoise sweater with writing on the front and grey sweatpants. Police say she was not wearing shoes. If you are in the Toronto area, please look at her face carefully and share this as widely as possible. Let's find Esti!

@JustRightPD Thousands of men/women, all heroes, made the ultimate sacrifice for our FREEDOM! 19 year olds never celebrated being 20. Today’s trashy youth has freedom because of them.

Spoiled college kids are burning, trampling, and disrespecting the American flag while the heroes who died defending it are completely forgotten. Watch Shannon Sharpe compare the American flag to “just a piece of cloth” — like a pair of jeans. But to millions of Americans, that flag represents something far greater: The blood, sacrifice, and courage of those who gave their lives for this country. Every time the flag is burned, mocked, or disrespected, the memory of the fallen is disgraced along with it. This powerful Memorial Day video contrasts the anti-American outrage spreading across college campuses with the patriotism shown by veterans, police officers, first responders, legal immigrants, and everyday Americans who still proudly stand for the Stars and Stripes. Featuring emotional tributes to America’s military heroes, law enforcement officers, and those who made the ultimate sacrifice — from the Civil War to Afghanistan — this video is a sobering reminder that freedom has never been free. 🇺🇸 Honor the fallen. 👮 Honor the police. 🇺🇸 Never forget their sacrifice.

“We were tortured. I was put down, cable tied, they put so much water under me for an hour that I thought I was going to drown. I was sexually assaulted in this kind of torture chamber... We had people who were tasered in the face. People were syringed with unknown sedatives.” —Juliet Lamont, Kidnapped flotilla activist

There are 22 million healthcare workers in America. And I think we just realized how powerful we could become if we stopped letting ourselves stay divided. Something happened in DC this week that was bigger than politics, bigger than titles, and bigger than any one specialty. For the first time in a long time, I sat in rooms with nurses, techs, therapists, physicians, and healthcare workers across every part of medicine, and nobody cared what letters were behind our names. We were united by the same reality: The healthcare system is failing both patients and the people trying to care for them. For years, healthcare workers have been separated into categories, hierarchies, societies, and specialties. But sitting together this week, it became impossible not to ask the question: Why have we been kept so separate? Because divided people are easier to silence and control. But there are 22 million of us. Twenty two million people who see what is happening inside hospitals, clinics, operating rooms, and patient rooms every single day. You can call me whatever you want, but I’m not showing up as “just” a doctor anymore. I’m showing up as a healthcare worker, proud to stand alongside my colleagues at every stage of healthcare. I’m done asking permission to advocate for patients and for the future of healthcare. We know these problems because we are the ones living them. And when healthcare workers unite instead of staying divided, we become something incredibly powerful. Thank you @wearfigs for bringing healthcare workers together in DC this week and helping spark conversations and advocacy that felt bigger than any one title or profession. This is how we change healthcare. Together.
