@six_papi Your actions are unhelpful and only serve to discourage and dishearten. What we need right now is hope and positivity. Let's rally behind someone who's making an effort, since none of us have been able to achieve anything.

I know the house. It’s not just one dog. In 2023 they chased my kids. Last year they killed another dog. Owner was rude when we pleased with him. His dogs move around as a pack at night and cause real terror. They have killed people’s cats, dogs and chickens. And isn’t the first attack on people either. I think council and some authorities came in 2024 in response and took away some strays. Some were taken. But owner claimed they were not strays. I have no kind words for the owner.

FROM INBOX | Hi, a pitbull has kiIIed a man in his 30s in New Bluffhill, Harare. The pitbull has a tendency of jumping the half durawall, and residents have raised concerns about it before. The victim’s body is still lying a short distance from the wall. @PoliceZimbabwe

South African billionaire businessman and the country’s richest man, Johann Peter Rupert, told Donald Trump that there is no white genocide in South Africa. He said the issue was about crime, which he noted is even worse in the DA run Western Cape, where the Cape Flats has a higher murder rate. He added that some of South Africa’s murders are committed by illegal foreigners, and that the issue is about crime and unemployment, not genocide.

@Denz74182318 @Am_Blujay We've endured pain for so long that laughter has become our coping mechanism. By finding humor in our struggles, we're able to navigate the darkness without being consumed by it. It's a way of transforming our suffering into something more manageable, even empowering.

@daddyhope Even if I were to concede that the teacher is a burden on social services in south Africa, shall we not count her tax contributions to the south African economy, shall we not count her VAT contrubutions wheshe shops, shall we not count the rent for her accommodation that she pays

This is a Zimbabwean teacher in South Africa, humiliated like this by fellow Africans. Her problems were authored by Emmerson Mnangagwa and ZANUPF in Zimbabwe. When she tried to fight back, the South African ruling party, the ANC, labelled people like her as Western sell-outs. The ANC sent delegations, led by its secretary-general and its youth leader, to show solidarity with Mnangagwa’s corrupt rule, which has driven Zimbabweans onto South African soil creating social flush points. I am not a prophet, but I can assure you that the ANC’s continued support for ZANUPF and Mnangagwa will result in more lost votes in the 2026 elections. It is that simple. You cannot support a thief next door who is starving his children, leading them to end up on your doorstep, and not expect political consequences. Botswana’s former ruling party, the BDP, was warned about the same ZANUPF phenomenon. Like the ANC, it ignored it. Today, it is in opposition. We do not live in a binary world. It is a fact that ZANUPF and Mnangagwa have authored this crisis. It is also a fact that the ANC has supported ZANUPF’s failed leadership. It is equally true that many Zimbabwean immigrants naturally sought better opportunities in South Africa because of this problem. It is also a fact that South African citizens are frustrated by being forced to share depleted social services with foreign nationals. All these things are facts. However, it takes real leadership to know how to respond to the crisis. At present, the leadership chair is empty, some are paying bribes, some are receiving them on both sides of Limpopo. Meanwhile, the voters will have the final say in South Africa, because it is a democracy. One day, we shall write about the ANC in the past tense, if the leadership chair remains empty. The distinction between black-led South Africa and Zimbabwe, and white-led South Africa and Rhodesia, was that the whites told each other the truth when they met. They would not allow an entire country to sink just to placate a neighbouring corrupt leader. South Africa is now sinking, with poverty-stricken citizens who are genuinely out of the formal economy. Illegal immigration is the last headache it needs in a Trumpian world. When Ian Smith tried to pull a ZANUPF on John Vorster, he was told to voetsek. President Cyril Ramaphosa needs to show leadership by confronting ZANUPF, but from all I know, he won’t. Both the Zimbabwean teacher and the South African nurses are victims of failed leadership. Hospitals are dilapidated in Zimbabwe, and Fikile Mbalula shouts, “Viva President Mnangagwa.” You could not make this sh*t up. When South African hospitals are swarmed, the same ANC cries the same immigration tune. But who is facilitating it?

This is the state of public health maternity wards in Zimbabwe, a total disaster. This is a maternity ward at Concession District Hospital. It has 18 beds, but at any given time there are around 50 women in there. This ward is used to accommodate antenatal, postnatal, and C-section mothers, and also women in labour, and others with children who have high temperatures. There are only three midwives on duty at night, and one nurse aide, yet people are expected to receive standard care. C-section mothers have to buy their own sundries for the procedure, and those who tear during delivery must buy suture material. The district hospital provides nothing. This is a referral hospital, yet it is in this state. 2,500 women die giving birth every year in Zimbabwe, and the country’s biggest hospital still has only one maternity theatre, built in 1977 by Ian Smith. 300 babies died during child birth in Zimbabwe in January alone.
