@lujazbik @MeatyMelo That's wrong. Although they have a simple story, what they had differently was unique storytelling. I watched the entire anime in 1280x720 with pixelated distortions everywhere but what kept me hooked was the storytelling. Storytelling and storyline are different by the way.
