After a cold, quiet couple of days around nertherton hill it was nice to pick up this female redstart this morning! Probably rarer up there was the m pheasant 🫣😂 which was very vocal and showed briefly! @Warksbirdobs @BirdGuides

@andyshawbirds1 @WestMidBirdClub @pmandrews1973 The Sibe that I picked up on the 6th appears to still be around. Saw the bird in the opposite corner where it immediately stood out. Again silent but same jiz like it’s not used to people.
Where it had started its winter moult around its face 3 weeks ago it’s now moulting breast

@groughgruff I’m in my winter plumage. Must have a shave the weekend 😆
English

@ChaterTodd I’m sure at st Ken. I was going running after, so would not have had glasses on. I look weird with and without glasses 😀
English

@groughgruff That’s right. I knew your face but couldn’t place it
English

@ChaterTodd I met you at St Ken. but didn’t recognise you yesterday (sorry). wind yday made viewing v. difficult and they always seemed to be behind the electric tape. Malvern birds look really nice & I thought about a trip to see them but your photos make these worthy of a second visit. 👍
English

@groughgruff Yes same two birds. Think you put me on the yesterday when I arrived. They certainly looked scruffier yesterday. Wind might have played a part.

English

@ChaterTodd Is that Lutley Todd? I didn’t see the silver wings on the two I saw yesterday.
