A Christian man was pulled from a moving bike and killed by a Muslim mob at the school gate, triggering immediate panic across the campus and surrounding areas. The mob reportedly attempted to advance toward student hostels after the killing, but was resisted by area boys and some students who mounted guard to prevent further attacks, while many others fled for safety. Hostels in Village and Rusau areas were subsequently invaded or targeted, forcing students to evacuate as fear spread across the campus. The violence has now spread beyond the university, with confirmed unrest in Nasarawa Gwom, Farin Gada, Terminus, Gada Bui, and Filin Ball, where sporadic gunshots have been reported and residents remain indoors. At least two persons have been killed in the ongoing violence. A COCIN church in Gwom was also attacked, further escalating tensions.
