Tolerance Is Not A Christian Virtue

Hey, write this down. It's a quick rebuttal for the Boomer in your family who still thinks we need legal immigration for "labor shortages." The truth is, there is no labor shortage. Never was. There is only multinational conglomerates over-saturating your local economy with coffeehouse and fast food chains that siphon money from your community and funnel it out of country. Let me elaborate. Blackrock and Vanguard bring in 3 Starbucks, 2 McDonalds, an A&W and other slop into your town. These require workers; more workers than your town has. Big gov see's unfilled job postings as unemployment problem and lost tax income, so they continue bringing in more unskilled workers to fill these positions as part of a immigration pipeline that was started in the 90's. Foreigners then fill these roles. Foreigners then send significant portion of their income back to their native countries where their family still lives. Income generated from these businesses then fills the coffers of investors and asset managers who have never stepped foot in your country, let alone your town. It's a vicious cycle of "labor shortage" created by the synthetic bubble of another chain store opening up in your small town that you didn't need. So what's the solution? Protectionism. What does that mean? Oversimplified, it means locals open up their own coffee shops and family owned restaurants. The local market dictates demand, so the supply of these shops is self regulating. There's less of these stores, which means local employment can be sustained, and the wages therefore go back into the pockets of locals. Income generated from these businesses then fills the pockets of local owners, local employees, and the money stays in the local economy, enriching it. The purpose of a machine is what it does, and the "labor shortage" only ever enriched blackrock.exploit at your expense and gave bigdaddy dot gov a pretense for mass immigration because of a 2008 style bubble of chain stores instead of housing. This isn't exclusive to just fast food or your local economy, either. Macro scale, this is being done to your nations manufacturing, food supply, logistics and even your government officials themselves. TL;DR is stop spending your money at places owned by shareholders who's only permanent address is on the Eastern Coast of the Mediterranean because it's enabling mass immigration and strangling your local economy.
