@ChekaZ_ @echodotxyz Not entirely sure un-kyc'd gen pop would necessarily have anything to do with this tbh

Funny product problem. Some small/curated gatekept groups have deals that don’t sell out, because the group is too small and gatekept. We could add a feature where groups have both members and followers. For the first 48 hours, deals could be offered to members. After eg 48 hours, these deals are offered wider to the group followers. This basically unlocks some of the higher quality gatekept deals to wider audiences, without shitting on the group manager’s right to curate how they share their dealflow. Its net better for echo users — they didn’t have access, now they will get some. But, without this context, I think users will complain and call them “insider VIP lists”. Not sure how else to get the dealflow from these gatekept groups to wider userbase though.

@echodotxyz Probably, but less likely if you sort out 90% already. Just my 2cents tho. Keep up the good work!

@ChekaZ_ That will happen anyway even with highly curated because investing is very difficult.

I have turned down probably 95% of the requests to do a sale in my group, likely >$100m of supply-side. Still not sure how to approach this stuff (more opportunities but more outcome variance vs. less opportunities and more curated).

@echodotxyz You probably should keep the deals amount low on your own group. People will be mad if the investment doesn’t perform well „you posted it, why is it bad“. So kinda a self protection from bad user DD.

My personal instinct (and personal preference if I were a user) is the exact opposite of what our users say if you ask them — (see replies to previous tweet). If I were the user, I would want to see as much stuff as possible, maximise the opportunities in front of me, so I can express skill in selection. In my mind, if I see 100 deals per year then I might buy 10 of them. But if I see 5 deals per year then I only get to buy 5. So it’s much better to see more and pass on 90%. But users very vocally prefer curation and seeing less deals. Pretty strange to me!

@cobie Really great product, the only thing I do not like but also wouldn’t know how you avoid is that people don’t even read what the deal is about and throw instantly money in, so if you read the docs and evaluate, you are most likely too late already.

So I’ve deleted my BCH wallet associated with cashrain, but can’t change it as it was used to log in via bitcoin.com wallet. I can still log into the account via email address & password, but cashrain winnings are lost to the ether. @KimDotcom is there a solution?

URGENT UPDATE FOR @coinkit_ USERS! PLEASE RETWEET!!🚨 I'd like to inform you about a crucial update to the CoinKit service. Due to regulatory reasons, CoinKit is transitioning from a custodial to a non-custodial crypto wallet. As a result, we all need to temporarily withdraw our cryptocurrencies from the platform within the next 4 weeks. After that, we can effortlessly deposit our funds back into the revamped non-custodial wallet once everything is settled. Please note that if you don't withdraw your assets within the initial 4 weeks, you'll have an extra 2 months to complete the process, but you'll be required to undergo KYC procedures. To sidestep any inconvenience, I suggest withdrawing your funds before the KYC phase begins. I understand it's not ideal, but I appreciate your comprehension and collaboration during this change. I'm excited to use the updated non-custodial wallet with all of you! For those who've won coins through Coinkit on Twitter, claiming your winnings is easy! First, access your Coinkit wallet, automatically provided to all Twitter users. To access your coins, message @coinkit_ with "Changecoin DGB” Next, check your balance by messaging @coinkit_ with “Balance” After that, send a message to @coinkit_ that reads "withdraw [your address] [withdrawal amount]” Example: “Withdraw D7zrrHHvPBsD5rWATHsCcwj2UrxEEVUW2a 1” Lastly, verify in your wallet that your new coins have been added. For optimal results, we recommend using the @CoinomiWallet, a trusted and secure choice for storing your cryptocurrency. Prepare to enjoy your winnings - with Coinkit and CoinomiWallet, managing your cryptocurrency has never been simpler! #Coinkit #Cryptocurrency #CoinomiWallet
