In 1993 Nirvana performed at MTV’s Unplugged and the last song of the evening was one of their most powerful performances.
Where Did You Sleep Last Night (In the Pines) was so visceral and haunting. The emotion that rolled of Cobain was intense! I will never forget it! Their arrangement was based on Lead Belly’s performance though the song is a Traditional Folk song.
Second to writing as a passion is music. I studied it, sing, and played clarinet (I wanted to be a jazz musician at one point).
