Restaurants, replacing actual photos of your food with AI images is not the flex you think it is

George Lucas says AI “means it’s much easier for us to make movies.” “It’s very much like sitting here saying, ‘Well, I believe the horse and the buggy is really where it’s at. These cars, they break down, they need gas, there’s all kinds of problems with them and pretty soon they’ll be making them into tanks, and then they’ll be killing people. It’s terrible.’ There’s nothing you can do about it, That’s progress, it’s the future…If you want AI that tells you when something is fake and where it came from, AI can do that. Humans can’t, we’re not that smart. The whole idea is you’re a human being, you’re responsible for what you say and what you do, and if you’re doing something that’s illegal you should be punished for that. Whatever you do, you should be recognised. It’s just like real life.” (Source: a-rabbitsfoot.com/editorial/conf…)

I just drove past this in Vancouver. How does it make you feel?

Black (PS2 2006)

kinda crazy how much more cultural relevancy it left than the other superhero movie released in july of last year

@Ringerfann @ButchBoi5 @bigmonkeong The comparisons started before release and no one thought the A-list factor was helping Superman then. And evidently both movies opened the same globally. This retrospective “well he’s Superman” take is made just to rid the movie of its credit.

@53gaDr3amca5t Patlabor 2 from 1993 did a freaking amazing of showing people having gotten used to living in what is pretty much a police state

Why the hell is there a massive Lego Trump in Mashhad right now??? 😂😂😂
