Personal News. I had a heart attack at the gym on Friday night. Been in hospital ever since. Not knowing what's wrong terrifying. Today had angiogram and dodgy artery now mended. Thank you so much to all the staff at St George's. You could not have cared more.

@BBCNews Same thing happened to me 16 years ago. I have written a book about it which I am going to try and get published. Well done for going public. Mine was put down to menopause and being a single parent plus the stress of working for the BBC! Meningiomas can be fatal if left.

It’s almost worth having your boiler break down in the middle of the cold for the joy of having it mended a week later as you’re in the studio and can’t be there! I will try and turn the heating off soon!
