We wanted to thank MICHAEL who was working “The Mummy” last night during our special event for helping us with baby swap (we had 5 grandchildren under the age of 6)! We truly appreciate you! @UniversalORL @AAOrtho

@DustinDavis @EricCMeadows @ToddLlewellyn Some bishops over program, or don’t instill the need for speakers to time their talks. I attended a ward recently that had a youth speaker, two adult speakers, two special musical numbers, and the regular three hymns.

Note to bishops everywhere. General Conference never goes long. It occasionally goes short. This is the pattern to follow for sacrament meetings, especially with the new schedule.

@VentanaRanch I barely saw this and wish I had known about Laura’s passing as I would have attended. She was a force and example of taking care of her community.

With a lot of people concerned about the rushed pace of the new Church schedule, I wrote a piece in the @sltrib to share my perspective on how I think it solves a lot of problems from the previous configuration.

Your cell phone does not listen to you “by accident.” It's a feature, not a bug. I talked about traveling to Rome just once and 10 minutes later I started getting flight ads. It's called “Shadow-Logging” and it happens through 5 settings you've never touched. Here's how to remove eavesdropping once and for all:

@JasminRappleye It gives a little flexibility to bishops who may be short on worthy priesthood to fulfill other more male-required roles. If we end up with feminist diatribes in Sunday School then release them, but I doubt the men in attendance will allow it. If they do, y'all got bigger issues.

Why are there no mixed-sex presidencies? Have men always led the Sunday School? How will this affect gender dynamics in wards moving forward now that women can be SS presidents? Watch the livestream on my YouTube channel 👇

Did you know that @Gerald_Causse is the least followed apostle in history. I know I Know, he’s newish. But still 5.9k is laughable. Let’s all work to get him in the 5 figures by conference. Together we can do it! His content so far has been incredible.More people should see it!

@TheRandyMormon @JasminRappleye I believe it is exactly what Elder Stevenson mentioned in his conference talk a few years ago. The Atonement is the key to eternal life.

@JasminRappleye Most Latter Day Saints have absolutely noticed the shift. What they don’t understand is why…because the church won’t tell them the real reasons.

Most Latter-day Saints haven’t noticed the major shift that the Church has been making over the last few years and with only 40 days until Holy Week and Easter, Latter-day Saints have aproblem. In the last few years, the Church has been quietly elevating Easter.

@Acolyte83349490 @JasminRappleye There are many good people who are not members of our faith doing great things. I think categorizing them as apostates is unfair.

Honestly, the Catholics had the best traditions. It's why we kept them with so many other holidays. They are culturally ingrained and historical and that is a connection that means something. I don't know why we threw out the ones around Easter. I suppose for the same reason I don't know why we threw out the cross.

I left the Catholic Church for a reason. Adopting their traditions feels heretical to me. The idea that LDS don't use crosses because Christ is risen is correct in that we worship Him and his resurrection not only every Sunday but throughout the week. In effect, we celebrate Easter all year and don't need to confine it to a day or a "season."

@NYerinLV @JasminRappleye No one is suggesting taking on the cultural traditions of Catholicism. Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are simply looking for additional ways to focus on the Savior.

@JasminRappleye Ash Wednesday is not a "holiday." Ash Wednesday, Lent, and Holy Week are serious times of self deprivation and repentance in preparation for Easter. You guys need to figure out your own religion, and stop trying to co-opt Catholicism. It's gross.
