Beyonce's 'Lemonade' is the #1 Greatest Album of the 21st Century, so far. "Lemonade has always been more than just an album. It’s a music film as layered, gorgeous, and haunting as a canonical drama." See the full list: rollingstone.com/music/music-li…

As the only person in the race with experience creating budgets, this sounds like hiding from the people, and that is unacceptable. I have never created or signed a budget in secret. I have done it in the open with town halls, public input, and real transparency because it is your money and you deserve a say.

New: Lt. Gov. Sara Rodriguez says she'd craft the next state budget "behind a curtain" if elected gov to avoid "a circular firing squad" and that she felt "challenged with the level of communication" from Gov. Evers' office during her time in the Assembly wisn.com/article/sara-r…

Just to clarify, since some don’t seem to understand: 1) This death sentence will be delivered by military courts, there’s no jury, no representation 2) These military courts try Palestinian children 3) A child who throws a stone can be deemed a “terrorist” and now put to death.

The IDF took what appears to be unprecedented action against the battalion involved in my team's assault & detention. In many ways, that's due to our position as US journalists. In too many cases involving Palestinian journalists & civilians, we've seen a lack of accountability.

This is who we’re funding. They’re popping champagne because they’ve given themselves free rein to murder Palestinian detainees in a system with a 96% conviction rate. We must end all funding to Israel and we must do everything we can to stop this genocide.

The Israeli government is about to pass a law mandating the death penalty, only for Palestinian prisoners. Mass execution by hanging, solely on racial lines. This is apartheid and the next step in the genocide of Palestinians, already systematically tortured in Israeli prisons.

WSJ: After Claudia Goldin became the first woman to win a solo Nobel in economics in 2023, she received hundreds of invitations and requests. She accepted just three. One of them was advising the WNBA players union as the women prepared to negotiate a new labor deal with the league.

I'm sorry but how on earth is this not front page news everywhere? A child. Cigarettes extinguished on his body. A metal rod inserted into his feet. In front of his father. This is documented, filmed, and handed over through the Red Cross. Where is the ICC? Where is the outrage from those who lecture the world about human rights?
Sameh Ahmed 𓂆 🇵🇸@PalPress24

The child who was subjected to torture (including having cigarettes extinguished on his body and a metal rod inserted into his feet in front of his father)— In a delayed video released by the occupation, the moment of his handover to the International Committee of the Red Cross is documented in the “Yellow Line” area east of Gaza, days after he was detained along with his father. During his detention, he was subjected to severe abuses, while his father remains imprisoned by the occupation to this moment.

For years, Wisconsin was just one of two states in the entire nation that hadn't extended postpartum coverage for new moms on Medicaid to one year. Well, not anymore! See ya later, Arkansas! 👋

Gov. Evers is at Children’s Hospital, flanked by a bipartisan group of lawmakers, to sign a bill extending postpartum Medicaid coverage from 60 days to 12 months for low-income moms. Wisconsin had been one of just two states to not provide 12 months of coverage.

A big day for Wisconsin moms that was seven years in the making! As @GovEvers said today, “If lawmakers listened to Wisconsin women more often, this bill would’ve been signed a long time ago.” 💜
Governor Tony Evers@GovEvers

I've spent seven years working to pass my “Healthy Moms, Healthy Babies” initiative to extend postpartum coverage, ensuring Wisconsin moms have the care they need for up to a year after giving birth.  Today, after years of fighting to get it done, I'm going to sign it into law.
