While some local patriots may disagree, Stratton and Biss are progressive.
Progressivism comes in different degrees, sure. But a progressive by any other name is still a progressive.
Low turnout or not, the results don’t suddenly make Chicago’s Democrats “moderate.” They just picked the less extreme flavor of the same ideology.

Honest question for republicans. Chicago is a very Democratic city. You think of Democrats as hijacked by extremists. But the truth is, progressives were wiped out last night. They lost literally every race. Could it be that we’re less extreme than your media is telling you?
