After est. 30K visited RKPT over July 4th we’ve had 5 officers and a civilian employee test positive for COVID-19. 3 more officers and another civilian await results. We’ve taken measures to protect public & prevent further spread.

I personally thank every Rockport citizen for the respect shown as people with views from across the spectrum enjoyed their 1st Amendment rights yesterday evening in our great city. Respect for each other must be the foundation for successful solutions to our nation’s issues.
