I have received a libel and demand notice from Miguna Miguna accusing me of issuing defamatory remarks on social media against him. I wish to further respond to him as follows: Miguna Miguna, for a long time you have made a habit of insulting Kenyans, attacking individuals, and especially disrespecting women. You speak as if you are above everyone else simply because of your command of English. But today, it is time for you to understand how others feel when you constantly insult them. I have seen the libel notice you sent to me through WhatsApp. On page 3 second last paragraph, you are demanding KSh 5 million which Frankly, that is quite shocking. You were the same person making loud accusations about money laundering, claiming the funds were not from a bank. After the truth came out and it was proven the money was legitimately from the bank, you now rush to issue a libel notice. My friend, I do not care how many degrees you have in law or which country you practice in. Whether you are a lawyer in Canada or elsewhere makes no difference to me. Life has taught me lessons in different places from the streets to institutions like Kamiti and Shimo La Tewa and those experiences shaped who I am today. So lets meet in court and allow the truth to come out. In the meantime, I am ready to engage competent legal counsel even ten lawyers if necessary because I am fully prepared to defend myself and expose the truth. Let the law and facts speak for themselves.
