@kenkenlewu This claim of GLO being better than MTN is true.
I'm about to go get a GLO Sim.

Palmpay has been offering free transfers to all banks since 2023, no matter how many times you transfer daily.
Recently, they increased my credit card limit to ₦200k with just 0.6% interest.
If these three fintech companies; Palmpay, Opay, and Moniepoint or their owners launch telecom services and start offering SIM cards, some companies will lose customers.
These fintech companies are too good.
Shame on MTN! GLO IS FAR better than MTN now 😢

@GloriousGod01 This doesn't make sense.
God's glory, we don't do that over here.

My brother was already a millionaire before I got into university. He never gave me a single naira.
When I was about to resume, my father called him and asked him to support me. His response?
"When I was in the university, I got little to no support. So he should do it on his own too."
I was pained. I cried.
But I couldn't forfeit my admission. I had saved enough to cover my fees from 100L to 400L. Then, just a few months to resumption, I was scammed. I wanted to invest in crypto.
I lost everything.
I went to school with only my acceptance fee. Nothing more.
I survived. Struggled. And figured it out on my own.
Am I mad at him? No. Not anymore.
I was angry at first. But as I went through life, I came to terms with something.
He never owed me that support. That was my father's responsibility. My father couldn't meet it. My brother chose not to step in. Both are true.
And that was the day I truly understood that all man is for himself.
It's a hard lesson. But it's the truest one life ever taught me.
Above all, love God.
Glorious God@GloriousGod01
What's the hardest lesson life taught you early?

@degenBRO__ The best fit shouldn't be about the money but the personality of the whoever the 18 or the 60 is.

@Stella570628 @jon_d_doe This isn't a gender thing because it goes both ways.
Not wanting to get married is your personal decision but it isn't a valid reason.
English

@Chigbo_W @jon_d_doe I mean, a lot of similar stories like this. Na men teach women na. Now make all of us face reality. It’s not a must we should get married ni

Imagine if he had invested that N300k plus other monies he had been giving to her at just 24. By the time he gets to 30, with careful financial planning and discipline, he would be prepared to be a husband and father.
Let me repeat:
Your girlfriend is supposed to invest in you and make sacrifices for you, while you invest and sacrifice for the future of both of you.
But lack of patience and foresight and the love for toto is taking a huge toll on you young men.
And greed has taken a toll on you young girls.
A young man who is just starting life deserves to be in a relationship. It's how he would find his future wife and the mother of his future children.
It's not a period for him to waste scarce resources.
It's a period of vetting, cohabiting, helping each other, and living a prudent or frugal life..
Then he starts to build his life brick by brick while you, the girlfriend, support him, while he also leads you towards the right path and in line with your future goals and aspirations.
Stop all these transactional relationships you people are doing..
They're unhealthy, and they create unnecessary entitlement, lack of focus and misplaced priorities.
You should have sex if you want.
But sex should not be sold in your relationship.
He would always spend on you, but it should not be seen as a compensation for sex.
How will he spend on you?
1. When you go on dates.
2. When you cohabit with him from time to time.
3. When he wants to get you gifts.
4. Then occasionally dash you money.
Not him paying for your rent.
Not him buying expensive phones, hairs, shoes, bags etc.
Not him paying for your school fees.
And certainly not him buying you sanitary pads or feeding your family.
And all his earnings must be legitimate.
This is what young people in relationships should practice.
Contentment, discipline, and reasonable financial planning and future ambitions.
By the time you keep at it, you'd be building a healthy relationship and setting the proper foundations for your future, and possibly, marriage.
You would have earned your place, and be proud of yourselves.
Make no mistakes; you will definitely make mistakes.
You'll fight, quarrel, and even curse at each other.
It doesn't have to lead to breakups.
As long as no red lines are crossed.
Use each fight, quarrel, or misunderstanding as a teaching moment.
Where you have to apologize, do so.
Where you have to be accountable, do so.
Where you have to be transparent, do so.
This is my gospel for you all, this beautiful wet morning.
End.

@matthewboiz @jon_d_doe Very wicked.
That's why I think as a girl, while investing, have a wise man to always seek counsel from.

the year i crossed $1m, i secured my base first by keeping 300m in liquid, interest bearing instruments like mmf, fif and t-bills so i can never crash.
then i deployed the bulk into cash flow assets and simple everyday businesses in sectors like health, food and energy, funded my exness trading acc too while putting a solid portion into bonds and dividend stocks for steady income. the goal isn’t to spend, it’s to build a system that pays you daily, weekly and monthly so even if you stop working, money keeps coming in.
i only risk a small portion on high upside plays and always stay liquid cos that’s what keeps you alive long term. buena suerte 👍

If you have 1.4 billion Naira right now, how are you spending it in a way you’d never be broke again?

I saw my former tailor today that borrowed ₦150,000 from me in 2023.
After collecting the money, she paid just ₦20,000 and disappeared. She blocked me on WhatsApp, moved from her house and I didn't have her new address.
Today I finally ran into her after 3 years.
She wasn't even sorry.
She told me she is trying to survive and didn't have money to pay anybody's debt. That bank apps are even tired of disgracing her
Then she gave me her address and said if I like, I should come and arrest her and take her to court.
She said "I dey owe no dey go jail"😂😂😂
