Elected under Labour Party for Enugu South-Urban State Assembly. Sent to Prison immediately he was sworn in as a representative. His Crime is where he comes from. They tagged him “osu” and the fact that an “osu” will never win an election in a local government where former Governor Jim Nwobodo and Former Senate President Ken Nnamani hails from. Every Judge that stood in his case has washed hands off one’s it’s time for judgement. It’s a case of political witch-hunt and everyone in Enugunis scared of the case because the Governor is directly involved. The Chief Judge of the state is equally compromised and has failed woefully in administering judgement. Barrister Bright Ngene has been at Enugu Prisons for 3 years now for a bailable offence. NBA tried to intervene but they developed cold feet. I guess @ChidiOdinkalu once tried but nothing because it’s political. Tyranny is the new norm in Enugu State and we must collectively end it.

This is Chidi Mark Obetta, representing Nsukka/Igbo Eze South Federal Constituency in Enugu State. The question is, what has Chidi done for his constituents other than moving from one party to another?

There is a deliberate campaign to mislead people by using the logo of another party while referring to the NDC. We must resist this by continuously sensitizing people, especially those in rural communities, about the official NDC logo. We did it successfully with the LP, and we can do it again with the NDC.

@winexviv All these proliferation of exams won't help either. It makes no sense writing WAEC or NECO and after successfully passing them, one is mandated to pass UTME(JAMB), before being admitted to study in the university. Developed countries have just 1 or 2 exams which are standardized.

TROOPS OF OPERATION ENDURING PEACE BUST ILLEGAL ARMS MANUFACTURING FACTORIES, ARREST SUSPECTS AND RECOVER CACHE OF ARMS IN PLATEAU STATE Troops of Quick Response Force (QRF), Operation ENDURING PEACE on Thursday, 7 May 2026, successfully busted 2 illegal arms manufacturing factories in Vom, Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State. The well coordinated raid operation was part of the ongoing efforts by Operation ENDURING PEACE aimed at cutting off the supply chain of illicit firearms and safe guarding of law abiding citizens within its Joint Operations Area (JOA). The operation which was the result of a highly intensified, comprehensive human intelligence gathering and strategic surveillance led to the discovery of 2 illegal arms manufacturing sites. During the precision operation, troops arrested 5 suspects caught in the act of fabricating lethal weapons. A comprehensive search of the sites led to recovery of significant cache of weaponry and industrial equipment. Items recovered include, 9 fabricated AK 47 rifles, one locally fabricated pistol, 4 empty AK 47 magazines, 7 skeletal AK 47 rifles and 10 rifle butts. Other items recovered are 36 empty shells of 7.62mm special, 4 revolver engines, 14 recoiling springs, 6 hand drilling machines, 9 filing machines, 4 welding machines and assorted industrial equipment. Suspects and recovered items are currently in custody for further exploitation and detailed investigation. While troops are currently consolidating the ongoing covert operation in order to mop-up the remnants of arms and ammunition already in circulation, Operation ENDURING PEACE appreciates the support of the citizenry and urged them to be more vigilant and report suspicious activities of criminal elements to security agencies.
