A timely reminder at this time of year when people are getting desperate for a ticket, do not buy anything from anyone on social media . It’s just a bad idea for so many reasons #Wimbledon

I only wish I’d read this earlier. Unfortunately, I have been victim to a similar scam, but this time with Wimbledon centre court tickets. I saw a tweet this morning from @gooner0021 (who has since blocked me) who claimed to have tickets and connected me to his friend Rauf Anwar. @Adam02144644 @tennisjames85. Rauf and I started messaging over WhatsApp, and he sent me his proof of purchase along with the ticket screenshot on the app. I insisted on sending only part of the payment, but he said that he’ll immediately transfer afterwards once he receives the funds on WISE. I asked for his documentation as identification proof, which he sent over. Upon making the transfer, his WhatsApp messages stopped delivering, and in parallel, Liam also blocked me. Please help me shaming them publicly @Adam02144644 @tennisjames85 @Wimbledon @AmexUK and help spread the word as I don’t want this traumatic experience to happen to anyone else. #tennis #ScamAlert #scam The #Wimbledon2025 #Wimbledon season hasn’t even started yet and I’m already scarred.

Rare for there to be zero resales reported when it’s only 5 days away from the start of the Championships. If you are still looking for tickets and have the stamina for queuing , it is looking increasingly like the only remaining option #Wimbledon

@Adam02144644 Particularly good seats today (front 10 rows) - incl. SF and final. Picked up a couple of SF tickets (my top pick for the year) - row 7. Definitely harder than previous years but will get easier as people buy their allowance pair. Keep trying folks! it only has to work once :)
