when the chips become too small to dip, one must grab a spoon and the dip becomes the chips, and now the chips are the dip.

They are giving it to Carrick and I have made my peace with it just sign good players in the summer.

David Ornstein on #mufc’s search for a permanent head coach: “The way things are going, I don't see United picking the likes of Iraola, Glasner or Silva ahead of Carrick - although if they miss out on the Champions League, I assume they would all come into play. That's why we'll have to be a bit patient. I hear United have completed all of their background work and no doubt spoken to representatives, although I'm told no interviews with candidates have taken place yet; if they had we would probably have heard whispers at the very least. It's a huge call for United and their sporting director Jason Wilcox - he's leading the process and will make a recommendation to the board. As things stands, it might feel like Carrick is in pole position... however nothing has been decided and therefore it could, of course, end differently.” [@TheAthleticFC]

Well that wasn’t pretty, but back to back semi finals. You cannot overstate how massive that is for Arsenal. Europes Elite.

@SammyRhex @Cantonadevils I don’t think it’s the same as frank at all. Frank was always slightly more pragmatic in his ways. Adoni is known for being a successor of bielsa. Wants fast attacking football which funnily enough fits “united DNA”

@Cantonadevils I hate to judge a person based on another persons failure, but iraola feels like another Thomas frank moving to a big club, and not just any other club but Manchester United. This assumptions could sometimes be wrong but this is just my opinion.I'll love to be followed by true reds

Andoni Iraola ball players is a very direct style of football and has less time for builds up. He likes players who are quick and fast in transition play. Once his players recovers the ball, the intent is to attack, attack, attack. No time for wasteful passing around or slowing the game down. And also without the ball, his team are aggressive pressers and loves to involve his players in man to man marking out of possession. Iraola rarely tweaks depending on opponent, but he rarely overcomplicates his style of play so he is very predictable.

Julian Nagelsmann ball Players don’t stay fixed, Full-backs become midfielders, Wingers move inside, strikers drift wide which makes his teams; Hard to mark and Unpredictable. His principles are quite similar to Luis Enrique in which any player can pop up in different positions to make a play. In some games he might: • Start with a 4-2-3-1 • Switch to 3-4-2-1 mid-game • Change pressing intensity depending on opponent. The only downside of his system or style of play is that it can be overcomplicated, defensive instability and needs technically smart players to execute. ( Manchester United players are too dumb to handle technical coaches and cry and let down coaches/sack them when they are technical )

If Ayden Heaven was at Frankfurt, Rennes, Bournemouth, Brighton: we’d be saying for utd to look at him as a Lisandro successor. Yet he’s here but he’s had 20 minutes of football since january 7th. Use him. Develop him. Empower him (environment, trust)

👍 if we get CL then let him stay on next year with another window we can build a base team which he’ll very likely be able to get T4 again with which is the floor and then we can upgrade on him the summer after if it’s evident that he’s not good enough to win titles

🚨💣 BREAKING: 🗣️ @AndyMitten on if Manchester United’s defeat and performance against Leeds will impact Michael Carrick being appointed long-term as head coach: "Nothing has changed. If he takes Manchester United into the Champions Legaue, he will KEEP the job. Manchester United have been and will continue to do their due diligence over the managerial possibilities, where coaches are likely to be in one years time, two years time and that’s exactly what they should be doing. The way it is at the moment, it works in Carrick’s favour. Some of the people, for various reasons, World Cup or whatever, will not be available. People are pretty comfortable with Carrick, but he needs to get that Champions League." [@TOTDevils pod]

@AwfulAmorim @FergiesRightRef @markgoldbridge Ofc I did and I still do. If you understand anything about management you would know that what Amorim left Carrick was absolutely extremely positive and it’s part of the reason we are top 3 rn. You think iraiola isn’t good because of his GD with Bournemouth 😂😂
