David Ornstein on #mufc’s search for a permanent head coach: “The way things are going, I don't see United picking the likes of Iraola, Glasner or Silva ahead of Carrick - although if they miss out on the Champions League, I assume they would all come into play. @SammyRhex @Cantonadevils I don’t think it’s the same as frank at all. Frank was always slightly more pragmatic in his ways. Adoni is known for being a successor of bielsa. Wants fast attacking football which funnily enough fits “united DNA”

@Cantonadevils I hate to judge a person based on another persons failure,but iraola feels like another Thomas frank moving to a big club,and not just any other club but Manchester United.
This assumptions could sometimes be wrong but this is just my opinion.I'll love to be followed by true reds

Andoni Iraola ball players is a very direct style of football and has less time for builds up. He likes players who are quick and fast in transition play.
Once his players recovers the ball, the intent is to attack, attack, attack. No time for wasteful passing around or slowing the game down.
And also without the ball, his team are aggressive pressers and loves to involve his players in man to man marking out of possession.
Iraola rarely tweaks depending on opponent, but he rarely overcomplicates his style of play so he is very predictable.

with another window we can build a base team which he’ll very likely be able to get T4 again with which is the floor and then we can upgrade on him the summer after if it’s evident that he’s not good enough to win titles
