I have gone through 2 failed IVF & I can assure you that this is a time where not only emotions, trauma but also mis information & ignorance runs high. People need to get educated. In a country where 57% women have iron deficiency, this is an important test prior to an IVF attempt. Watch this reel to understand the science, whetted by doctors I closely work with !

Roshan Khatoon was lynched while she was fasting. This beast, who was identified as one of the perpetrators of the heinous crime, was released on bail! Look at the way more rotten people are garlanding him. This is what our society has fallen to. Utter disgrace and shame! Some gutter mouths would land up in my comments section too who are of the same breed justifying this welcome. Come and expose yourself.
Aasif Mujtaba@MujtabaAasif

Almost a month ago, a Muslim women was brutally lynched to death. She was forced to drink urine when she asked for water, all while she was on Ramadan fast. Now, the perpetrator of this heinous crime was given bail and received a heroic welcome. Is this not the sign of a deeply rotten society?

Bengal elections are always tough! It ends today. Now people will obsess over exit polls but do take a second to appreciate the reporters who were literally standing in 45° heat for weeks to bring ground reports from violent places like Murshidabad. NDTV has stood out from the rest. Well done!

I have a genuine question for the Hindus of Bharat who STILL haven’t done mental khatna, what are you going to do if a ‘radicalised loner’ like Zaib Zubair Ansari comes at you or at your family with a knife? Answer honestly if you can!

After Mahua Moitra’s insult directed at Gujaratis, it is now Sayoni Ghosh’s turn to target the Sikh and Punjabi community. Incidentally, Gujaratis, Sikhs, and Punjabis form a significant part of the electorate in Bhabanipur, the very seat Mamata Banerjee is contesting from. The pride and dignity of these communities are not to be trifled with, and they will respond where it matters most — at the ballot box. This isn’t an isolated instance. Sayoni Ghosh has previously insulted Hindu sentiments by posting an offensive image involving a Shivling. This pattern of conduct reflects a deeper disregard for faith and cultural sensitivities. This is what happens when one can’t think beyond Kaaba and Medina.

Mahua Moitra & J Sai Deepak's Fiery Exchange Over Hindutva & Hinduism “Hindutva Exists Because…” The Debate 2026 by the Calcutta Debating Circle sets the stage for a charged and unfiltered clash on one of India’s most polarising questions: “Hinduism Needs Protection From Hindutva.” A fiery face-off between TMC MP Mahua Moitra and legal scholar J Sai Deepak as they lock horns over faith, politics, identity, and the future of Indian democracy. Sharp arguments, ideological fault lines, and no easy answers. This is a debate that cuts to the core of contemporary India. Moitra took jibes at her senior Swapan Da, which obviously people found uncalled for and not funny at all. J Sai Deepak, opposing the motion, he argued that Hinduism actually needs protection from secularism, rather than Hindutva. He challenged the narrative that Hindutva began with V.D. Savarkar in 1923. Instead, he traced its roots to 19th-century Bengal (1860s–1909) as an “organic Shakta response” to colonial invasion, citing figures like Bankim Chandra Chatterjee and Sri Aurobindo. He countered claims that Hindutva is “hyper-masculine” or strictly “Brahminical vegetarian,” asserting that Bengali masculinity and Shakta traditions (which include offerings of meat and alcohol) are foundational to Hindutva. J Sai Deepak argued that Hindutva is a civilizational necessity that translates into a political vision, and that it is unconstitutional to deny political representation to Hindutva while allowing it for other ideologies like communism. The event featured sharp rebuttals against co-debaters Mani Shankar Aiyar and Mahua Moitra. He accused Aiyar of conflating Hindutva solely with Savarkar and questioned Moitra on whether she had similar critiques for non-Hindu worldviews. The debate, which also featured Sudhanshu Trivedi and Ashutosh, concluded with the audience overwhelmingly voting against the motion, supporting J Sai Deepak's stance. In no way Moitra could’ve matched J Sai, nowhere near and totally decimated. Credit : ANI.

To book a cab outside Howrah is a Herculean task. Years ago it was simple, come out, lines of cabs available , ask anyone, if u agree with fare, sit and leave. Then came her govt, started a prepaid counter (only few counters on India's busiest railway station), stand in line, book reciept, wait for cab to come, then p0lice will manually write cab number in ur reciept and u can board. Then driver has to again show reciept to counter to collect their own fare. Now State Govt has launched an app like ola/uber called Yatri sathi. You have to book a cab from there. Once booked, you still need to stand in line. Taxis will come, again you will be instructed which can to board and then passenger will board one after another. The fare has few bucks extra charge. That cut money goes to you know who. If u are booking other app based cab, u have to walk almost 500m to parking area (parking area is just for name sake to charge money). Parking charges are 70-100 rs. No receipt, cash, goes to you know who... Santragachi, another world class station, app based cabs are not allowed inside. Inside only prepaid counter / yatri sathi allowed, whose cabs are not even available. For app based, You have to walk almost 1km on main road in narrow broken water logged lanes with luggage in hands. And on that main road p0lice will be present who won't allow cabs to stop for boarding so you have to sneak into cabs like you are doing illegal stuff.

Those people who are saying PM took 7 boats from a muslim, they need to understand that now all such works are taken over by muslims, so neither PM nor any ordinary citizen has any option then taking service from a Muslim. You can't find hindus doing such work anymore. That's why we need to follow the varnashram system, because shudras are the backbone of society and now all such work is taken over by muslims. Most meat sellers across the country are muslims, there was a time when Khatik or some other Hindu communities were historically associated with selling meat. Now whether you follow Islam or not you have to eat Halal meat. This is the situation of Hindus even though they proudly say they are in majority. Ghante ka majority, majority ka majaak ban gaya hai.

His body had wasted away piece by piece. His ribs had begun to show. He no longer had the strength even to move. When the British saw that this 25-year-old young man would not break, they tried to force-feed him by thrusting a tube through his nose. The tube entered his lungs instead of his food pipe. Milk filled his lungs. He writhed in agony, vomited blood, but still refused to end his hunger strike. On 13 September 1929, inside Lahore Jail, a revolutionary gave his life. For 63 days yes, 63 days he had not eaten a single grain of food. History often remembers the hanging of Bhagat Singh, but forgets the comrade who died in Bhagat Singh’s arms. That revolutionary was Jatindra Nath Das known across India as Jatin Da. He was an expert in making bombs, but in the end, his greatest weapon became his own body. He could have apologized. He could have accepted food. He could have saved his life. But he had only one demand: “Stop treating Indian political prisoners like animals.” The British believed hunger would crush his spirit. They did not realize that this was not a body made of flesh alone it was forged in iron. As his condition worsened, the British crossed every limit of cruelty. Prison doctors and guards pinned him down. They forced a tube into his nose. He screamed in pain, but his resolve never trembled. When news of his martyrdom reached the public, the nation wept. It is said that as his body was carried from Lahore to Calcutta, thousands stood at every railway station with flowers in their hands. In Calcutta, more than 600,000 people joined his funeral procession. Subhas Chandra Bose himself helped carry his body on his shoulders. But today, how many still remember that 63-day sacrifice? Before his death, Jatin Da reportedly said: “I am no saint. I am simply an ordinary man who wishes to die for the dignity of his country.” People may debate how India won freedom. But one truth cannot be denied: The foundations of that freedom were laid upon the withered bones of young men like Jatin Da. India’s freedom was not charity. Someone paid for it with his youth, his pain, and 63 days of unimaginable suffering. Every Indian should know the price of the air they breathe today.
