That shift right there is everything. Because one intentional email will always beat five random ones. That was the exposure for me too. Sometimes the best move is not to send.

I was on a call with a client and they said something I did not expect. “Can we just send something today so we don’t miss out?” That word. “Just”. It sounds small, but it is where most email problems start.

But those small fixes started doing what more campaigns could not. This is something I see a lot. Brands keep adding more. More emails. More designs. More ideas. But the real lift usually comes from refining what already exists.

You do not always need to send another campaign. Sometimes, you just need to fix what is already there. I was looking at an account recently. Emails were going out consistently. Designs looked good. Nothing obviously wrong. But the results were not matching the effort.
