@crotchner2 I dont think anyone in this thread has a genuine loving partner or someone as freaked out as them. My love will get annoyed if I dont smack it while shes in the kitchen even after 5 years.

@ClownWorld It may training dogs not to chase vehicles and save their lives. Sooner or later they get run over.

An amputee cyclist riding through what looks like rural backroads kept pepper spraying dogs that were running toward him during his ride. The video sparked a huge debate online, with some people saying he was protecting himself while others argued the dogs didn’t look aggressive enough to justify being sprayed.
What do you think?

@Ravious101 At 8 years old, I would go camping with my younger cousin on Friday afternoon and come home Sunday morning.

@Nazumejud Don’t make rash decisions. You are not taking your mother’s side. You will do what’s best for your son.

AM I WRONG FOR CHOOSING MY MOTHER OVER MY WIFE?
My wife and I have a son who is about to turn five. For years, my parents, mostly my mother, have provided full time childcare at no cost. She follows every rule we set, no screens, no sweets, routines exactly as asked, and our son adores her. We genuinely could not afford daycare, and even if we could, it would not compare. Recently, we learned my parents have been quietly paying my older brother’s rent.
He has a long history of poor choices, and my wife made a sharp comment about favoritism and how the problem child always gets rewarded. My mother snapped back hard, saying she spends forty hours a week caring for our child and can do whatever she wants with her money, even waste it entirely. The language was intense and shocked everyone. My wife demanded an apology. My mother apologized for the wording but doubled down on the message, saying her finances are not up for debate……..

My dad is a truck driver. Long haul. Cross country. Saw a kid hitchhiking last year. Middle of nowhere. Teenager. Backpack. Dad stopped. Against company policy. Kid got in. Quiet. Scared. Dad asked where he was going. Kid said “Anywhere. Away from home.” Dad saw bruises. Understood. Drove him six hours. To a youth shelter. Different state. Safe. Kid tried to leave without saying anything. Dad gave him $100. Said “For food. For starting over. For being brave enough to leave.” Kid took it. Left.

@GoodwinMJ How much power does a council hold? Is it like a city council in the US?

@doctuh_p I’ve never thought about hiring a moving company. One nice thing about living in the country, plenty of trucks and cattle trailers.

@RealPostFolder I was going to town and I got pulled over.
Cop asked if I knew the speed limit. I said per law it is 45 unless otherwise posted. He let me go with a warning.

@nickitruesdell I peaked on JR High. That lead to a tour in the Marine Corps and a successful career in the FD. Middle school can prepare you for some jobs.

Middle school in America is roughly 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. If you went to public school, you may remember this as the worst, most awkward time of your school career.
I was homeschooled beginning in 6th grade. Thankfully, I missed all of that. As a mom of five homeschooled kids, I’m thankful that all of my children have missed that, too.
Homeschooling is a gift to your children.

@BuzzPatterson Were you in Japan in 85? We were on a C-141, it kept losing altitude after takeoff, you could feel it but couldn’t see for the lack of windows. We turned around and changed planes.
English

I was a C-141 squadron operations officer and my squadron deployed to Yokota Air Base just south of Tokyo for 6 weeks. We flew every day to places like Singapore, India,Thailand, South Korea, Guam, and Australia. I was there to administer pilot check rides and have fun so I put my deputy in charge so I could fly as much as possible.
One day, we were tasked with picking up deployed Marines from Korea and returning them to Iwakuni Marine Base, Japan. When we picked up our first plane full of Marines, who were sleeping on hard floors, we realized that half of them were going to have to spend the night in the terminal until we came back the next day. I talked with their commander and told him we’d drop off the first group and come back ASAP to get the rest. They were ecstatic. Ended up being among the best decisions I ever made in the Air Force, otherwise I would’ve spent the night in southern Japan and never met my now wife.
Instead of laying over in Iwakuni, we returned back to Yokota after our second Korea run. It was a long day but very satisfying.
I was whipped and I took my crew to the O’Club for drinks. We were having a great time when one of my fellow pilots came to the club and said he was having an aircrew party in his room across the street and he wanted me to meet somebody.
We reluctantly agreed and walked to the party. A bunch of sweaty dudes in flight suits. As soon as we walked into his BOQ room, I locked eyes with a beautiful blonde who is now my wife. That’s who Todd wanted me to meet! 30 years ago! Not only was she beautiful, she was a Rush Limbaugh fan! We immediately hit it off and the next night had our first date in Tokyo. She was there on an internship with her college, Chico State.
God works in amazing ways! Three children later, here we are. I definitely outkicked my coverage! Being proactive paid off! ❤️

This man and his wife bought their house a year ago. Their next door neighbor has dogs .
After several months they became frustrated because they said the dogs barked all night. Several neighbors and themselves sent letters of complaint to Animal Control.
So, the neighbors with the dogs built a 15 foot fence! 😂 There is no HOA or city ordinance governing the heights of a fence there. They even put the 2 x 4’s on the outside. 😂
Do you think the man is overreacting when he says his family can’t use their sunroom anymore? Or, do you think the owner of the dogs overreacted by building the fence that high? What would you do?
