@BEESTANGSALLY1 @Minervasbard Reminded me of a 'tradition' at a school I worked at where one of the deputy heads dressed as father Christmas - so we would sit on his lap. I refused and made to feel a spoil sport. I was over 30.

@Minervasbard Not over 65 but as a teenager, I worked at Columbia Yacht Club in Chicago & Peter Kokenes used to ask us to sit on his lap every so often.😓 The 3 of us just did.🤷🏽‍♀️ We didn’t KNOW we had the option to say no. He didn’t feel us up or anything, so we thought he was harmless. WRONG!

@joel120193 @STEMyBanda I think the paper ones is about the student having it. Electronic ones become the teacher's responsibility. Positive conversations about them can really help. A good step if used early to highlight emerging issues. Not once embedded issues are happening.

@STEMyBanda Yeah I don't like the electronic ones, they take more time. I'm mainly curious about their purpose. If a pupil isn't doing well in a lesson, then they will get a correction/detention/sanction. Surely if they are 'on report' this would just be monitored more closely?

Do the students in your school with challenging behaviour have a paper report they show to every teacher? If so, do you think it works? Can it be improved? If not, what is your alternative for tracking behaviour?

I keep reading, far too often, judges saying extremely similar comments. That a sentence would have “an enormously detrimental effect on the perpetrator” & that “women are prone to hormonal hysteria.” WHY are the VICTIMS needs secondary to the PERPETRATOR’S?? This STINKS. 🤬
