Rose Docherty appeared in Glasgow Sheriff Court today for a hearing in her “buffer zone” censorship case. She is being criminally prosecuted for offering consensual conversation in a public space in Scotland, in a shocking example of the free speech crisis in Great Britain. The prosecution requested a further adjournment in the case to consider Rose’s submissions. Rose’s lawyer argued the prosecution violates Rose’s human rights and should therefore be dropped or moved to the High Court of Justiciary, Scotland’s supreme criminal court, to consider this issue. The judge denied the prosecution’s request for another delay and decided to set a “debate” at Glasgow Sheriff Court on April 20 at 10am to consider these questions. We look forward to this and sincerely hope the court will decide to drop this censorial case against Rose and declare that the Scottish national “buffer zone” law is incompatible with fundamental human rights. We are committed to standing alongside Rose in her battle for free speech.

So it's fine to have a poster advertising 'MSI funded abortion and vasectomy care for the Midlands' within an abortion buffer zone but hold up a poster saying 'Here to talk if you want' and it's a crime. Seems like the government supports free speech as long as it's pro abortion.

@si_ad @DrCalumMiller I’m beginning to think that the disestablishment of CoE is necessary for England to survive.The separation of church & state (Magna Carta)was ripped up by Henry 8,making the church the states poodle rather than its minister & master.Disestablishment would restore separation

@DrCalumMiller It’s possible that disestablishment is the first step in making Britain Christian again. If they won’t cancel a meeting to at least register concern about the killing of fully grown babies, then what are they there for?

Have received word that the Bishops of Winchester and Norwich are not attending Parliament to vote against ABORTION UP TO BIRTH due to unspecified "diary commitments". This is extremely disappointing.

@Crowe_JE Agreed.When Henry 8 made himself head of the church he broke Magna Carta principle separating church & state.He put the church UNDER his rule as opposed to the Pope & Church being ABOVE his rule. It was inevitable that CoE is now the states poodle rather than its minister.

@ChooseLifeSoton @IsabelVSpruce No, because they haven't done that. They've simply created a zone to make women feel safer and free from harassment. There's no criminalising of thoughts.
