Kentucky mother hides a camera in her nonverbal autistic son's hair after suspecting he was being abused at elementary school.
Tiphanee Lee says she suspected something was off when she received complaints about her son's behavior at school.
Lee decided to take matters into her own hands and put a small camera in her son's dreads.
When Lee reviewed the footage, she heard noises while her son's head moved around as a staff member accosted him.
"While this was happening there was adults in the room who did nothing to stop it. This is unacceptable," Tiphanee said.
The incident is reportedly under investigation.

For Memorial Day, do yourself a favor and take three minutes of your time to listen to this Civil War letter from Maj. Sullivan Ballou to his wife.
I just started re-watching the Ken Burns series, which debuted in 1990 to a record-breaking audience of 40 million, for the first time since it originally aired.
While I had forgotten all of the specifics of the show over the years, I NEVER forgot this letter or this moment, which closed the first episode.
Burns kept a copy of the letter in his wallet for 25 years.

Memorial Weekend
2026 🇺🇸 🫡
This is such a poignant and respectful remembrance for all 9,387 US soldiers who paid the ultimate price for our freedom on D-Day in Normandy.
French caretakers’ tradition of taking sand from Omaha Beach and scrubbing it into the letters of the tombstones makes the names more visible and gives them a golden appearance.

Pray with me
May 25, 2026
Heavenly Father,
Today, on this Memorial Day, we pause to remember those who laid down their lives for others. We honor the men and women who walked into danger so their families, their neighbors, and future generations might live in freedom. Your Word says in John 15:13 that “greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” Lord, we remember that sacrifice today with humility and gratitude.
We thank You for courage that stood firm in the face of fear. We thank You for the unseen acts of valor, the prayers whispered in foxholes, the tears shed by families at kitchen tables, and the flags folded with reverence. Comfort every Gold Star family and every heart that still carries the ache of loss. Be near to the widow, the child, the parent, and the friend who still feels the empty space left behind.
Father, guard our hearts from becoming careless with the freedoms purchased at such a great cost. Help us to be a people marked by honor, truth, courage, and righteousness. Remind us that liberty without virtue cannot stand, and that a nation is strongest when it humbles itself before You.
We pray for our military, our veterans, and those currently serving around the world. Protect them. Strengthen them. Give wisdom to leaders, peace to troubled souls, and healing to those carrying wounds both visible and invisible.
Most of all, Lord Jesus, thank You for the ultimate sacrifice. While brave men and women gave their lives for a country, You gave Your life for the world. Through Your cross we find forgiveness, redemption, and eternal hope. May we never forget that true freedom is found first in You.
Let this day not only be a remembrance of the fallen, but a call for us to live lives worthy of sacrifice, faithful in purpose, steadfast in love, and grateful for every blessing.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen

A Texas man FORCED his girlfriend to take the abortion pill, and it KILLED her baby!
Jon Rueben Demeter has been indicted after authorities say he secretly gave a pregnant woman the abortion drug without her knowledge or consent, resulting in the death of their unborn baby.
A grand jury indicted him on charges of abortion, a first-degree felony punishable by five years to life in prison, and injury to a child. The indictment replaces an initial charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
According to a search warrant, Demeter gave the woman — the mother of his other children — a bottle containing a white milky substance at his home. He told her it was an electrolyte drink that had helped the mother of his other children during pregnancy.
The woman later became ill and went to the hospital, where she gave birth at 14 weeks gestation. Her baby girl did not survive.
The woman told detectives she did not want to have an abortion, but Demeter did.
Court records show he had previously offered to obtain abortion pills online and pay her $1,000 to kill the baby, but she refused.
A search of Demeter’s home revealed a glass bowl containing white powder residue and evidence of a crushed white pill. Demeter admitted to ordering abortion pills online and giving the woman the drink, but denied that the substance contained the pills.
The Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office confirmed the indictment.
Abortion kills babies and hurts women.

The image depicts Katherine Cathey, the pregnant widow of U.S. Marine 2nd Lt. James “Jim” Cathey, lying on an air mattress on the floor in front of her husband’s flag-draped casket the night before his burial. A Marine honor guard stands vigil in the background.
Jim Cathey was tragically killed in action in Iraq in August 2005. Overcome with grief, Katherine refused to leave her husband’s casket. She requested to spend one final night with him. Two Marines went to great lengths to provide her with a makeshift bed, using a mattress and pillows on the floor. One Marine stood guard over her and the casket throughout the night.
This powerful and Pulitzer Prize-winning photograph was captured by Todd Heisler in 2005 as part of his series “Jim Comes Home” for the Rocky Mountain News.

Really glad to see Alisa and @revannek taking on Gregoire’s destructive teaching. Excellent job ladies!

Sheila Wray Gregoire has become one of the most influential voices in the Christian conversation surrounding sex, marriage, and evangelical culture. But do her conclusions actually stand up to biblical and logical scrutiny? My latest with @The_real_annek

Sally Field killed her baby in an abortion.
At age 17, after what she described as a sexual awakening, Field said she had an illegal abortion in Mexico.
Reports do not give many details about Field’s abortion, other than that she was 17 and had recently experienced a sexual awakening that she said was like “breaking out of my own brain.”
When she became pregnant, she traveled to Tijuana for an abortion.
She recalls being given an injection that left her with blurred vision and a swollen tongue, adding that a mask was placed over her face while she was given a “white pill.”
In recent years, she has used her fame to advocate for killing babies in abortions.
Field was spotted at the Tony Awards years ago wearing a gold Planned Parenthood pin.
Later, she tweeted about the event: “Sick of hearing actors talk re politics? 2 bad I won’t stay silent while politicians attack our rights. Proud to #StandwithPP.”
We're happy to boycott anything Sally does that endorses killing innocent babies before birth.

I've been brown my whole life. I've lived in the South most of my life. I've never once been unable to vote. I've never been unable to get a license or photo ID. And I've never once needed the party of racism and voter suppression, @TheDemocrats, to speak for me. #VotingRights
