Artemis II is more than a mission — it’s a moment to inspire Canadians. 🍁
As @astro_jeremy prepares to fly to the Moon, this mission highlights how Canadian science, engineering and teamwork open doors for future explorers. 🚀

This is one of the worst architectural downgrades of all time.
The construction and design of New City Hall in the 1950s symbolized Toronto's break with tradition, as stated by the City of Toronto's own website.
It was the end of "Toronto The Good" and the start of the modern, multicultural metropolis.
Frank Lloyd Wright said at the time that Toronto's New City Hall, designed by Finnish architect Viljo Revell, looked like a gravemarker, and that the building marked the spot where Toronto fell.
Old City Hall, completed in 1899 by Canadian architect E.J. Lennox, symbolized Toronto's prosperity.
Mayor John Shaw said at the grand opening in 1899, “Great buildings symbolize a people’s deeds and aspirations".
The contrast between these two buildings could not be more stark.

Goodnight from NordSpace’s stunning Atlantic Spaceport Complex SLC-02, see you in September! Although we wish we could have completed our launch this weekend, our 5-day license has expired and we are waiting for a new one to be issued as soon as possible. For now, we’re headed back to Ontario to push forward on our other missions and projects and will head back to the ASX in a few days to prepare Taiga for launch. Go for launch! 🚀 🇨🇦

NordSpace.
Maritime Launch Services.
Roshel.
Xanadu.
Chances are, many Canadians haven’t heard of those companies.
Meanwhile, everyone has heard about the struggles of The Bay, Zellers, Blackberry, and others.
Yet, the four companies listed at the outset will be far more consequential for our future prosperity, security, and sovereignty than any bygone firm.
NordSpace is working to provide Canada with an independent rocket launch capability, in addition to advancing our development of hypersonics.
Maritime Launch Services is building Spaceport Nova Scotia, Canada’s first commercial spaceport.
Roshel produces high-quality armoured vehicles, creating good jobs for Canadians and establishing our nation as an innovative and reliable military producer, including by outfitting armoured vehicles with counter-unmanned aerial systems capabilities.
Xanadu is making breakthroughs in quantum computing, giving Canada a chance to be a leader in a technology with immense implications for our prosperity, our national security, and our national defence.
